Great Deal on Daizenshuu on EBay
Eight Daizenshuu, that's the seven hard copies plus one of the others, are selling for $50 altogether. $20 for shipping though.
Just another great deal I found while looking through EBay.

You could always buy it and just sell the ones you don't need.Tyro wrote:I was thinking about buying these myself and keeping this hidden from all of you.But then I decided I'll just wait and buy the rest of the volumes I need individually, even if it'll cost me more in the end.
Trans rights, now!
I'd do that... I need to replace my Complete Illustrations and would love to get my hands on TV Animation Part 3.SonEric84 wrote:You could always buy it and just sell the ones you don't need.Tyro wrote:I was thinking about buying these myself and keeping this hidden from all of you.But then I decided I'll just wait and buy the rest of the volumes I need individually, even if it'll cost me more in the end.

Awesome find! This got me interested in owning the daizenshuu. This may have already been posted before, but are all of the daizenshuu out there being sold legit?
I ask because I found several auctions for all of the books in a hard cover format like this one and (though they are very pricey and the shipping is outrageous) the availability of these certainly seems too good to be true, making me think these are probably bootlegs or whatever.

I doubt it's a bootleg.dasmith wrote:Awesome find! This got me interested in owning the daizenshuu. This may have already been posted before, but are all of the daizenshuu out there being sold legit?

I bought one of that guys sets recently. I read about what to look out for in bootleg Daizenshuu in previous topics, and the set checked out. None of the signs were present. Plus, two of the books were from a Japanese used bookstore, apparently. They were wrapped and had a slip from the bookstore showing the price he paid for them and everything.
Oh, and while they were in really great shape for twelve year old books, they were still quite obviousy used. Wouldn't a bootleg look new? So, yeah, if you have the money for one of his sets and the shipping, I'd say you should buy one. His feedback is nearly 100% positive and I could find no comments claiming that his items seemed bootleg.

That's really good news. Money is a little tight right now, so I wish the price wasn't so high with shipping otherwise there would be no question about it.Chibi Mystic Gohan wrote:I bought one of that guys sets recently. Question: Are all of the Daizenshuu hard cover, or were they also sold as paperbacks later? (Sorry, I'm a newb to the daizenshuu)
