Hi, this amv was a little project i did this last week. I am not so good at it, but it came out out quite good. I used movie maker (which ain't so good).

I was wondering if any of you out have an opinion on my amv and do you have any tips on making amvs on movie maker?
I finally bought a gamecube. To bad they don't make any games for it now.

It was good for a first effort, it had a nice look and a pretty good flow to it. The sound of the music fit it pretty well, but I was very distracted by the lyrics. Lyrics that don't literally apply to the scenes can work, but in this case it was just distracting because I kept wondering "what does that have to do with anything...?" A few lines were made to fit the scenes, but then I had to notice how the rest of the lines didn't fit. If it was made as more of a comedy video, this song could have worked. But, having it somewhere in between made it so I wasn't sure if I should be ignoring the lyrics and just noticing the music itself and the action sequences, or listening to the lyrics and not so much looking at the action. Sorry, it's a little hard to explain what I mean... :D

All in all, it was really good for a first try, but the song selection could use some work. Definitely keep it up, though.

I agree with Alice. If the song has no lyrics, the video would've been a lot better. As it is, the lyrics are just distracting, especially since you sync with them early on for the scene with Bulma.

If you where going for a comedic thing, like having Dragonball be 'high school' while DBZ is 'real life', you could make the song work as a DBZ video, but just an action vid of the fight with Raditz...no, it's doesn't work.

Aside from the lyrics though, the rest of the vid was competant and pretty good for your first go.

It's actually not that bad, the sync is pretty good with the lyrics in the song, even though the meaning of the clips don't really fit to the lyrics. That's also tricky, getting the clips to fit what is said in the lyrics, and sync them to the beats at the same time.

I'd love to see more from you :D
