Mystical Adventure-DragonBall movie possiblities?
What do you think the chances are of there being some verison of Makafushigi Adobencha/Mystical Adventure appearing in the DragonBall live action movie?
I think that there should be some reference to it; either a small sound sample or it being used as a closing theme. After all Spider-man made use of its classic theme in the closing credits.
Though personally I would love to see it be in the opening credits if there is any chance of it being in there in the mix. I thought Brian Tyler did a good job with Rambo and it used many references to orignal musical score for the first three films.
Anyone got opinions?

I really hope it does happen. I don't know enough about Mr. Tyler to make any predictions, but I'd still say it has a fair chance of happening.

If it was to be part of the musical score I'd like it to be like this-

I think it would best suit a part were Goku is journeying. Perhaps from Mt.Pauzo (or where ever he'll grow up) to the city (or in search of Muten Roshi)

Frankly, I would be shocked if anyone involved in the production had ever even heard Makafushigi Adventure. It sounds very unlikely to me.
In the case of Rambo, that movie was written and directed by the guy who starred in the older three movies, and said original movies were also produced by the same country as the fourth one. But for the Dragon Ball movie, the core production team is American, while the original series was a Japanese production. So there are entirely different staffs involved in each. And even though DB obviously was brought to the US, most people probably only saw it via Toonami, which used its own custom openings.

Didn't FUNimation just use an English version of Makafushigi Adventure called get those Dragonballs. It still had the same music just different lyrics.TripleRach wrote:Frankly, I would be shocked if anyone involved in the production had ever even heard Makafushigi Adventure. Indeed it did. Well it's either Get or Find- the lyrics say "Find"Vegeta Jr wrote:Didn't FUNimation just use an English version of Makafushigi Adventure called get those Dragonballs. "Get that Dragon Ball" was the Philippines-English dub

Most FUNimation songs don't have offical names they're usually called "Main Title". Really its the fans that decide the name in the end

Yeah, but my point is that that opening wasn't on Cartoon Network much; the custom Toonami openings are probably all most people ever saw.Vegeta Jr wrote:Didn't FUNimation just use an English version of Makafushigi Adventure called get those Dragonballs.
