Why? (Goku saving choices, etc.)

When Goku saves the Kibtokai and Hercule over Goten, Trunks, etc. (when Buu destroys the Earth), Vegeta was pissed and Goku seemed conflicted over his choice. The announcer guy even made a big deal of it at the episode's end (I know he over hypes a lot), but why wasn't that used at all? Goku seemed fine the next episode ((no idea what words you're trying to use here) at least).

Your grammar hurts my brain but I can answer the last part.
Goku is a more "live n' let live" type person so I think he can easily get over any mistake he had made previously; he'd focus on the here and now and try to do the current job very well to make up for any previous f-ups.

Kibito-Kaioshin (Kibito Kai) - Most likely, since he has the Shukanido (Instant Transmission) that doesn't need a Ki source to teleport. Unlike Goku's. He ends up saving Goku, Vegeta, Mr. Satan and the dog, if I remember correctly. But, this also put them in deep-shit, since Kid Buu learned the skill after seeing Kibito use it only once.

Goku probably thought ahead of time and knew he was gonna need Mr. Satan. Gohan and the others, would be brought back by the Dragon Balls. So, I think Goku knew, it wouldn't matter if the others were taken with them.

XD I always took that scene as a rushed Goku not being smart and grabbing whoever he saw right then and there. He was never incredibly smart.

Son Goku's reason to save Dende was obvious. But saving Mr. Satan would help them, even though Son Goku and Bejita never knew it at the time. But think about this...what good would it be for Son Goku to save Son gohan, Son Goten, Trunks, and Piccolo? They would only get in the way. Some of you may not know this, but Son Goku's method usually end up saving everyone. Like the time in the Cell saga...it saved the universe and got Son Gohan to the SSJ2 state.

What gets me is how the circumstances wound up perfectly so that despite being next to Gohan before Buu launched his blast, they were closer to Mr. Satan and Dende during the Earth-destroying one...
Somehow I don't think Buu did that on purpose...
And if Kaioshin had grabbed Vegeta and the KOCrew, while Goku teleported the others...

Yeah, I'm still bitter about a couple of the characters I like the most getting taken out like that. T_T.

How so? Gotenks or Gohan could have taken Kid Buu with both arms and legs tied behind their backs.

And I imagine they weren't exactly in the best of conditions (though Kibitoshin or Dende might have been able to assist there).

... Jees, now I'm imagining a fight between Gotenks and Kid Buu... oh, the trashtalk and the Gotenks getting pissed off when Buu hits him while he's mocking him...

I remember something about Toriyama being FORCED into writing Goku as the final hero. What an easy way to kill off Gohan who was originally going to save the universe

Toriyama wasn't forced to make Goku the hero. The fans wanted Goku to be the hero and, always wanting to please the fans, Toriyama altered the course of the story to make Goku the hero.
