DBZ: Burst Limit - Extra Item Questions (and answers?)

Post by sangofe » Thu May 22, 2008 1:33 am

From an earlier Daizex news post:
Speaking of Burst Limit, Adam sent us the pre-sell sheet for the game at EB / GameStop. You have probably seen this info before, but it is official that the stores will exclusively be offering a DVD with DBZ episodes 1-7 with purchase of the 360 version, and a Blu-ray of DBZ movie 1 with the PS3 version. It's interesting to note that the 1-7 DVD appears to be an exact duplicate of the first disc that comes with the first "remastered" season boxset, while the movie 1 Blu-ray is slightly different than its corresponding retail product (which contains both DBZ movies 1 & 2 on a single DVD / Blu-ray, and is due out on May 27th).

All of this is going to be valid from May 4th to May 31st, which I don't quite get, since the game doesn't come out until June 10th. Anyone have some clarification on this? Do you have to pre-order the game by May 31st to be guaranteed the extra item (along with the promised t-shirt) when you go pick up the game?
Now I wonder about the same things as Mike, but, a few things in addition.
1) The European version has any extras?
2) Which extra does the Japanese version has?
3) Can anyone order these US versions?

Hopefully someone can answer these questions =)

I apologise that I can only answer your first question.

As far as I can tell the European version (At least the U.K version) has no extras you can receive by pre-ordering the game. There was no promotion for any such offer and my friend who pre-ordered the game didn't get anything....so that's that answered.

Unfortunately I can't answer for the other European countries....sorry

Assuming this is the shirt, then I doubt other countries in Europe would have got the same treatment.
