Rate my name for a new Freeza relative.
Tell me if this pun works or not.. I'm not claiming to know Japanese, but this just seemed like a clever little idea to me. From playind Diablo 2, I've known forever that Buriza-do is one way of saying "Blizzard" in Japanese, as they have an item in the game called Buriza-do Kyanon.. but anyway, I got to thinkig Buriza sounds so similar to Furiiza, so if you just take the last sylable off the "d" in blizzard, and just use "Buriza" as a name for Freeza's uncle or something.. and if you Funimationized the name it could even just be Blizza.
Yes? No?
Yes? No?
I say "yes."
For all the flack that FUNimation gets on this forum for their quote about DBZ, there's some modicum of truth to it: a 9-year-old is born every day. Or in some cases, "reborn". DBZ may be a kids' show, but it's been so close to so many hearts all over Japan, America, and quite possibly, even the world.
buriiza is written just like furiiza with a voice mark on the fu.
I'd say yes, but I'd have to look stff up for a definitive "in Japanese blizard = " answer... which... I might if noone else does. It seems highly likely, though.

Ok, so burizaado is indeed one of three ways to say blizzard in Japanese. (the others being fubuki and moufubuki... unless I forgot what I was looking at ten seconds ago already.
).
Since Freeza cut of an extra 'a'... Buriza seems completely within reason.
(Psst: DBCrisis is still awesome. I recently had a dream that Ultimate Vegeta and Piccolo had to go see the wizard of Oz for some reason...)

F-King Furizing sounds good to me. Living in Canada I think it is an incredinly stron villain that uses temperature in their name.
On the idea of Fridgid relatives, how the hell do these thigns mate? They aren't even congenial enough for friendship

in the next burst limit there should be an attack called 'Freeza Burn'
In Frieza's extended family tree we have Chilla, Frosty the Snowman, Colder, Blizzarda, Ice Man, Doctor Freeze, King Cooler, Sorbet, Frigid, Sub-Zero, anything cheesey applies.
I would love to see popscicle the dog. Why, he has more power in his left leg than Goku does in his entire body.

I'm getting a Sigma from Mega Man X 1 vibe. Y'know, where you've gotta fight his dog before you fight him, then you fight them, then he and his dog combine into a giant robo that spits fire and shoots lasors?Raz wrote:I would love to see popscicle the dog.
