Dragonball GT English Who was the music composer???

Post by dbzanto » Sat Jul 26, 2008 1:01 pm

Does anyone know who composed the FUNimation Dragonball GT music, because I can't find who did or where to download music of (from?) Dragonball GT.

DBZANTO has a DaizEX account?! No way! But on topic: I don't know the names of the men who performed the DBGT opening, but they are shown in a cheesy DBZ live action music video. The guy raps the song while Jinzo'ningen #17 and Son Goku fight...in live action. There is also a much longer version of the theme.

Is there a video of this anywhere?

On the DVD for the end of the Super Android #17 saga. It's like a special video on the select screen.

His music is even more boring that DBZ's Funi score. Menza should never be allowed to score anime anywhere at any place or time.
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

Pretty true... the music was trying to be all 'epic', if y'know what I mean... ;) As for FUNi's DBZ music, Bruce Faulconer FTW!!!!!! :P

The GT BGM sounds kinda....like Rock-n-rap-n-roll. It's got the rap, but with some rock. It only mixes well sometimes. And this time was not one of them.

XD

I use some 8bit stuff in the Plan To Eradicate the Saiyans score. But that's just for the little video game mini map sequences...

But yeah the main DBZ synth used for acoustic insturments was

I think it's decent for electronic music...I actually use it in non-DBZ music sometimes. But yeah, I don't think it was handled as well early on.
