Money Order help
I need some help:
I just bought my Super Survivor CD from CDJapan, and I paid with a Money Order. Do I need to buy an International Money Order, or just a normal Money Order?

Try reading their FAQ before asking for help. It's there for a reason.

When putting the address to ship it to on the Money Order, do you write it as is? Like this:
CDJapan (Neo Wing Co.)
1-10-12-2F Nihonbashi Horidome
Chuo, Tokyo 103-0012, Japan (This is from my E-mail that I got from the site)
Or do you have to write it a certain way?

Oh, so all I have to do is put CD Japan on the left side, and my name/address on the other? Didn't think it would be that easy, thanks!Saiyajin no Tatsujin wrote:You don't have to. Whenever I send a money order (domestic or international), I never write their address on it. Just write the name of the company (who you're sending the money to), and write your name and address on the right side.

Yes, it really is that easy.
As long as you send the money order to the correct address, there is no need for you to write their address on the actual money order itself. Just make sure you print the correct name of the recipient (company title or person's full name) on the money order, so they'll be able to cash it. Trust me. I've done it many times when buying anime and VGM CDs in the past.

Ugh, stupid Money Order...
I just bought it, paid the money to get it, but when I put "CD Japan" in the "To" section of the damn thing, I wasn't allowed to send it. It wasn't "complete". Do I need to put more, or am I just dumb?

Really? That's weird. Here's what I normally do:
1. Buy the Money Order at my local post office
2. Fill out info on Money Order (just like explained)
3. Conceal the Money Order (along with order reciept or order info) in an envelope
4. Write both addresses on the envelop and stamp it
5. Take it down to my local post office and mail it.
If you're in the US, you need to buy an International Money Order, incase you didn't already know.

On the IPMO (International Postal Money Order) is says "Pay To" and I put "CD Japan", but under that, it says "Address". Do I put the address?
Here's what CD Japan has to say:
The post office will give you an IPMO check physically (applies only to customers in the United States), and you will need to mail it to our address shown above. Please write our company name, our address, and your order number on it. If you receive "Postal Money Order," then tell them you need to receive an "International Postal Money Order." Since we are not able to process orders unless we receive your IPMO, we recommend you to get it registered when you post it, and signature will be required when we receive it. We are not able to take responsibility if your mail gets lost.

Yeah, I'm just going to write the address down, if that'll make 'em happy.Saiyajin no Tatsujin wrote:Okay then. Do what they say, and write their address on the MO.

Heh, that's OK. This was my first purchase from CD Japan, and my first ever Japanese CD, or any CD for that matter, that I've bought online.Saiyajin no Tatsujin wrote:Some places are touchy like that. I gues I should've also mentioned that I've never bought from CD Japan yet.
