Does anyone have a comparison picture of Piccolo with three fingers in the manga and the same scene with four from the anime?

Four in the manga, and five in the anime. In volume 18 of Dragonball, he is shown with five fingers.

That bit about vol 18 is news to me.
I appreciate that info, but the purpose of this thread was to get an image comparison...

I didn't have time to find any dirrect comparisons but I found of bunch of pictures from the anime and the manga that clearly show how many fingers Piccolo has:

PS: By "fingers" I'm assuming that you weren't counting the thumb...because with the thumb Piccolo is supposed to have 4 phalanges total.

Again, I'm not disputing how many fingers (yes, not counting the thumb) he has in any form of media.
I just want to see if they enlarged his hand or split a finger or what they did artistically because I'm trying to customize my favorite Piccolo toy to have the right (manga) number of fingers. If i could see the same pose, side-by-side from the cartoon and the comic, I could know what exactly I want to do to my toy.

EDIT: I do appreciate your efforts also, of course.

His fingers are definitely a bit thicker in the manga. In the anime he has normal looking fingers. I always thought it was funny how Toei changed Piccolo by adding another finger. Maybe it was because it would be easier for the animators to draw since they would be used to drawing human hands already.

As a side note: On page 5 of chapter 155 of the manga, it shows Piccolo Daimao with 4 fingers (and a thumb of course) for comical purposes. In the Viz release, it is page 154 of volume 13.

Yeah, it's the same reason they changed Buu's hands. (Cell's too, I think? I can't remember how many fingers he had in the manga.) It's just simplier for the animators, since they've got multiple groups and don't always know right away who they're working on drawing at the moment, to give them all the same number of fingers.

It's bad enough Toei forgot the halo over Goku at least once during the Buu saga.
