Funimation Studios Texas?

Discussion, generally of an in-universe nature, regarding any aspect of the franchise (including movies, spin-offs, etc.) such as: techniques, character relationships, internal back-history, its universe, and more.

Funimation Studios Texas?

Post by saiyanprincess » Fri Sep 12, 2008 4:27 pm

Just wondering is the Funimation studio based in Texas? I hope that hurricane misses America and stays in the ocean! I have a feeling Texas is one of the places that supposed to be hit! :(

I hope all those people have the senses to try and seek safety and not stay where they are, It's all over the televisions here in England and it looks nasty.

lol don't worry about that. I live about 30 miles (48 km) from Fort Worth where Funimation is. Fort Worth is pretty far from the coast. It's not really gonna do anything too bad around here aside from 3 or 4 inches of rain probably. I'll be sure to tell you everything is still here when it's all over!

Tell whoever's in charge of marketing the DBZ series to go out and try to stop it with a fan.

Funny how most of the VAs are also writers and directors on the show, so it won't be much of a hit, but I say save Adam Sheehan and Lance Heiskell, too.

Oh thats good! I hope you remain safe and well  Be sure to let us all know how you get on.
The news here has made it sound like an end of the world disaster, I must admit looking at the tidal surges and the high winds I wouldn't want to be on the recieving end of it.

Three or Four inches of rain isn't that bad, give me a shout if you want me to post an inflatable boat out! I have a snorkel and flippers you could borrow as well.

MAY THE SAIYANS BE WITH YOU!

Funimation headquarters might get roughed up a bit, but considering all of the equipment and other stuff they have there (not to mention they probably don't want to look stupid and risk loosing everything to a storm that was predicted months ago) I'm sure they'll take the necessary precautions to protect everything they have there.

Here's an idea of what they'll encounter:

I'd be more concerned with the rising gas prices that have happened as a result of the refineries having to temporarily shut down in Texas and Louisiana. Price gouging jerks! :x

Gas jumped a good dollar in less that 12 hours in my area. Something is fishy about this.....
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

I can't believe they take advantage of people during a time like this. Sometimes this country/economy makes me so angry. :x

Why isn't the government stepping in?! What happens to those US refinieries doesn't affect us at all! How do their "frequent gouging investigations" miss something so fucking obvious?!

You think you guys have got gas prices bad, try the UK! It's daylight robbery.
We are currently paying £1.29 a LITRE for diesal, which is $2.31.
1 US gallon = 3.79 Litres (approx)

Thats why us english have to drive such little cars  What with the tax, insurance, MOT... All they want to do is drive us from the roads.

We are suffering not because of any crisis, but because our goverment are greedy bloodsucking mosquito type... No wait they suck us dry just like Cell... - They are greedier than Yajorobie and Goku at a free buffet.

If they could tax us for air, I'm sure they would have a damn good attempt.

Thanks SSj_Rambo for the maps and diagrams, I can kind of see where you are coming from, It's just a good job Funi isn't based right on the coast in a posh overlooking the sea apartment as you would see in LA or somewhere.

It's been one bad year for these hurricanes.

One day it's in the $3.42 area, now $3.79 is the cheapest I can find it. And I have to drive between two different cities to see my parents.

Hey just thought I'd let yall know that everything is over here now. It rained for about and hour or so and the winds weren't bad at all. The news said that we got 1 inch of rain. I feel bad for all those people near the coast, but as far as the Dallas-Fort Worth area goes everything is fine.
