Favorite parodies
Dragon Ball got a lot of parodies almost everywhere nowadays
What are your favorite ones?!
Most of my favorite ones are from BOBOBO-BO BO-BOBO
for example... there was a scene when Don Patch was acting like Chaozu and blew him self up... but when the smoke clears out... his face was like Nappa!! and he said his lines too from after the explosion!!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oDGe7bASFYo
another one is probably a favorite to a lot of us, PatchBoBo ((a Gogeta rip-off fusion))
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pgc7ssa0 ... re=related
Also, in the manga ((ch. 51)) they made a small parody of the Namek Saga
http://img151.imageshack.us/my.php?image=06qa8.png
http://img440.imageshack.us/my.php?image=07hc8.png
http://img440.imageshack.us/my.php?image=08ax1.png
and let's not forget the fight between Don Patch (Vegeta) and Tokoro Tennosuke (Goku) when everything went wrong...!!
from outside the world of BO-BOBO...
In episode 50 of Gintama, they were discussing how to improve the show, they made a parody trailer for a movie called" DragonBLEAPiece", but it was rejected because it was "too risky"
another one ((a reference)) from episode 79. Gintoki and Kondo were having a small talk in the toilet, and this what they said:
Gintoki: "Hurry up and go! Looks like you're also like Yamucha who stands at the sidelines while others are fighting!"
Kondo: "You're being very rude! It'd be an impossible task even if I were Tenshinhan!"
Gintoki: "Ten-san and Yamu-chan aren't THAT different anyway!"
My favorite Non-Japanese DBZ parodies, there are three of them...
My most favorite one of them all is from episode R.E.P.O.R.T, when #4 was acting like Goku and fights a five-headed Freeza-like monster. I really laughed my ass when I saw that on TV
my second favorite is episode "Chicken Ball Z" from "Billy and Mandy"
and my third one is from an episode of "The Fairly Odd Parents" that Timmy fights Vicky in a setting similer to the Tenkaichi Budokai arena. ((Oolong and Pu'er appeared as a brief cameo))

I like this one.
"Its over 1,000!!!!"
"Well, that's not bad."
"...Kick his ass!"
And then there's always Team Four Star: http://www.youtube.com/user/teamfourstar
They kick ass.

Seth Green's Robot Chicken DBZ Christmas short and basically any video Team Four Star made so far.
Sorry if this is necro posting. I hope it isn't; it's not like I'm replying, "Yeah I agree," or something pointless. I almost started another thread, but remembered this one and thought it best to just add to it.
Me and my brother have been playing Disgaea 3. Disgaea is a JRPG game series that has a lot of anime and video game parodies in it. It even has eyecatches in the middle of chapters and next episode previews between chapters.
After chapter 1 we got to see the first 'next episode preview', and it was a Dragon Ball Z parody.

The "it'll go on for just a little longer" line seems to be based on Toriyama's line in the manga when the Z portion of the story started, which seems like something only a Dragon Ball fan might pick up on to me.

If you guys haven't seen Hare and Guu (Jungle wa Itsumo), my god you should. Its a fantastic, wonderfully drawn, utterly bizarre, and strangely touching at times between fits of batshit series and I love it dearly. Frequently throughout its run there's scattered parodies and homage, but this one was possibly the funniest because most of the cast plays it so damn straight.
If you haven't seen the show, you'll need just a little background. The blue-haired boy (Hare) is possibly the only logical/sane person in the village. Understanding that things are wrong when noone else does makes him shout at the camera a lot. The little pink-haired girl (Guu) is basically the vortex of all of the weird that has come into the world. These other characters are all reoccurring people, though you don't need to know them to get the jokes. It just makes it funnier if you do.
Here's a link for the first ones. 00:25 to 4:20 has multiple little one scattered through it.
Bit one- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pV3VtCso ... C&index=20
Bit two- The video's off since almost 15 seconds from the sound in this one but the gag still comes though clearly enough. 1:07 to 1:20.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lWXwWUjq ... C&index=21
Combined with the general insanity and hilarity of the show, this makes it my favorite parody.

Cause there wasn't enough Bobobo parody in here yet:
http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d92/D ... ZEEEE2.png
http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b122/ ... nga873.png
And though I can't find the link, one scene from the anime was funny, with Bobobo summoning a "golden cloud" with a smiley face on it to catch them, but they fall through, and it starts crying (they're hardly pure, lol).
In Crayon Shin Chan (manga), Shin gets slapped by his mom, and acts upset, just to pull out a final form Freeza mask and note the weakness of her strike.
Lastly, one mission in Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars, involving stealing a dragon suit (for Chinese New Years parade* via a truck, and using it to evade police detection after a bank robbery, was named Dragon Haul Z.

The Reboot parody that was very much a DBZ and Pokemon parody would be my fave.
I'd also say DragonBall: The Magic Begins is my least favourite parody. Especially that enhanced version.
In B4 someone says DB:E, because we all know it's going to happen.

"I like the money it brings in, but Dragon Ball Heroes is the worst. That's actually the real reason I decided to start working on new material. I was afraid Bandai would make something irredeemably stupid like Super Saiyan 4 Broly." - Akira Toriyama, made up interview, 2013.
Anybody seen the Dragon Ball CG parody?

I don't know why but I get a kick out of it every time. I love the lazy dub work.

This may be more of an homage than parody, but in the (fucking awesome)game No More Heroes, the main character you play as, Travis Touchdown, has to find seven Lovikov Balls around his hometown of Santa Destroy and bring them to Randall Lovikov, a local drunk. Once you do that, he'll teach you a wrestlnig technique.
Obviously, this is a reference to wishes being granted by Shenlong. The game manual says that the balls are part of a wish-granting dragon, just making the reference mroe obvious. Too bad a dragon isn't actually ever seen and it seems that tidbit is simply there to spell out the reference for slowpokes.
