One question though... does Brolly get stronger the longer he fights? I'm not sure if it is fact or if it was just a fan creation.

I know that that is stated in the dub, but I'm pretty sure that in the Japanese version Broly also says something along the lines of "my ki is rising" in the middle of the movie, which could imply that as the fight goes on his power increases or just that he was powering up at that point.

So maybe.

Broli wouldn't stand a chance against a Super Saiya-jin 2, all this crap about infinite power is a combination of fanwanking and FUNimation's awful script.

Gohan should be stronger, but the movie doesn't fit in the series.

Anyway, Gohan never turned SSJ2 in any Brolly movie.

I think enough wacky stuff goes on in both movies8 and 10 to suggest that SSJ2-level fighters may have to work a little to take down Broli, but not immensely so. (SSJ2 Gohan crippled perfect Cell in two hits, yeah... Hmm. The Broli Vs Cell question is confusing and I probably shouldn't even reference it...

... Unless, you know, we resurrect Broli with blood sacrifices from a bunch of SSJ - SSJ2 - tier characters. *wouldn't want to fight Broli after giving blood, personally*

Actually, Broli could possibly have infinite power in a certain sense.

But it doesn't make a bit of difference because his body can't hold it all.

Allow me to explain. In Movie 8, Broli's power rose sporadically throughout the fight, beyond his control. He just kept getting stronger. But there was basically a point where even his transformed body met it's limit and Ki began spilling out of him.

Basically he had accumulated so much power just instinctively, he had to discharge a great deal of it.

So, yes, Broli's Ki does keep rising as he fights, at least in Movie 8, but there's only so much he can handle. So even if his power reserves are unlimited, the amount of power he can wield at any one given time most definitely is not.

Cell should be stronger than Brolly, too.

Cell is SSJ2 after he comes back from space.
