The e-mail address currently listed in my profile is ridiculously out of date, and it's been on my mind to change it for awhile now. But when I tried to do so (just now), it told me that the address I wanted to change it to had been banned.

I'm not sure what this means. I only have the one forum name and have never registered with this new e-mail address.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Seems to be an issue. A user from Funi's forum wants to sign up here but their email is banned as well.

Really? Maybe his is a GMail addy?

At any rate, it certainly ain't something that a li'l tweak to the account can't cure. Mike had mine fixed in all of two seconds.

Probably just that you'll need to choose an alternate addy to be placed in your profile. Currently, your e-mail listing is blank, so all it means is that you won't be able to put a GMail address in that space.

Or maybe I'm just talking out of my ass. Mike?

Current users are fine. You're already registered.

I've temporarily blocked Hotmail and Gmail addresses to try and save some bandwidth from the spam bots (failed) registrations. If anyone needs to register and you know about it, just tell them to use something else for the time being.

Yeah, the ScrewAttack forums did that with Hotmail before. Which is why I use @live.ca now, actually.

But yeah, hopefully intelligent people can figure it out. Or at least find this thread about it.
