Fucking amazing. So far two have been announced. Freeza and Cell.

If Freeza ever makes it to a live action movie, I hope he looks like that.

That's EXACTLY what they look like, which is also exactly why I don't want them. Freeza is just rehash of one of the Aliens toys. :?

Forget Freeza and Cell the Super Vegetto, Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta and Super Saiyan Son Gohan is the best I have seen so far. The Piccolo is nice as well. There are others you just have to flip through it.

This sucks, the Broli figures are discontinued, those are the finest that I have ever seen the stuff they put out lately fails to do him justice.

The Saiyans are very much like the Klingons and Jem'Hadar.

Lol, I don't see 'the special' thing, all you guys see. I think it's because I never collected figurines lol and never cared too much. Can someone explain why these are so nice? Please? :P

Was that officially stated anywhere? I've always made that connection but never knew it was intended.

Dunno if it's the same reason for everyone, but from what I see, these figures are some of the most detail-oriented figures I've ever seen. Stuff like shading, texture and all the small things just make it more well... detailed. The sculpt job also takes a much different route from most figures that are either posable or stills based on some kind of pose from the series. These figures, though... geez, they actually make me that much more scared of Freeza and Cell. Not to go off on a tangent, but I personally thought King Piccolo was one of the creepier baddies in the series, but now I dunno. Oh geez, if a King Piccolo figure for this DX series were made, I dunno what I'd do.

But I think I'm kinda getting a bit off-topic. Upon seeing these figures, I was immediately reminded of those IF Labs figures that were crazy detailed with blood and tears and all that nastiness that really defined the term "battle damage" that was oh-so loosely used in past figures. The one slight problem I've got with these are the weird hexagons you can see in the purple patches for both characters. Though I guess it just wouldn't look as detailed as the rest of the figure in comparison if just left straight up purple (or even clear purple).

But yeah, yay for super awesomely detailed figures that I probably can't get my hands on any time soon.

Too bad the shipping costs more than the figure itself...
If challenge had a taste, you'd be quite delicious.
