7 Emeralds/7 Dragonballs, Super Sonic/Super Saiyan, and others. It's pretty obvious that the creators of Sonic put in their own little "homages" to the Dragonball series while they worked. I've just done a few drawings to show this. I onlyl have one up, but more are to come.

First one, is Super Sa-I mean, uh, Super Sonic.

A little, "sketch to screen" if you will.

Yes, Photobucket's much better. It allows you to directly link to the image itself, nothing more, instead of what Imagesuck does.

I like your SSJ Sonic. He should have green eyes though. Super Saiyans have green eyes and don't Sonic's eyes become green when he becomes Super Sonic? I seem to recall that being one of the similarities between Sonic and DB.

Meh, it always seems to fluctuate between blue and turquoise-y (in DBZ), but never flat-out green, I don't think.

Actually, Imageshack does have a direct link. As of late, they are hiding the option...but it's there.

Once you host an image and scroll down to the bottom, just click "Show Advanced Linking", and the direct link will be there. It demands that you don't use it for posting in forums, but I do it anyway. =p

Classically, Sonic's eyes become red as Super Sonic, but I think I've seen them done as green, too.

Originally they were green, they got changed to red later on in this series of games because Sonic's eyes became green in his base form.

Actually in the old games (Sonic 2, Sonic 3 and Sonic and Knuckles for the Genesis) Super (and Hyper) Sonic's eyes were green, while his normal form simply had black eyes.

Since Sonic Adventure Sonic's normal eyes have been green and his Super Sonic eyes have been red.

Yeah? Maybe it's only in Sonic 3 and Sonic and Knuckles then, or maybe only Hyper Sonic.
