The new, "You know you're a Dragon Ball fan if..."

Post by Kingdom Heartless » Mon Dec 15, 2008 4:23 am

There was a good thread a while back, but it's disappeared into the abyss.

Well, what I've got is-

-You've seen a character in a movie die, and had your first though be a serious "They can just be wished back with the Dragon Balls.

-You still shout KAMEHAMEHA! on occasion.

-You hum any of the theme songs to yourself regulary.

-You sing any of the Japanese songs out loud "the best you can" regulary.

-You sometimes spike your hair up because you think looking like Goku is mondo cool.

-You have had a pet named after a Dragon Ball character.

Alright, that's about it from me.

I know I'm possibly making an ass out of myself, but I think a rule should be established. Moving forward with my suggestion; I propose that each time a post is made in this thread, there should be a limit as to how many "You Know you're a Dragonball fan if..yada yada" you list in favour of keeping the thread as alive as possible.

Without further ado,

- You strive to have yoiur girlfriend dye her hair blue, put on a bunny suit, and proceed to perform a (in Dragonball lingo) healthy puff-puff. :)

-When you don't just shout Kamehameha, but regularly do the physical motion of it at the same time, or even by itself.

-When you have had dreams where you have-

a. Flew Dragon Ball style.

b. Done a Fusion Dance.

c. Gone Super Saiya-jin.

(and yes, all of the above, at least two of them within the last year or so).

-You photoshop a picture of yourself doing a Kamehameha wave or having Super Saiyan hair.

(I named my iPod Puar, does that count as a pet?)

Fun fact: no image editor was used to make this pic.

-You pick up a candy and wonder if it used to be a person.
-Colors give you Nam flashbacks.

I once had a dream about finding a Dragon Ball in my toilet after taking a whizz. No joke.

- If you make up scenarios that take place after the end of DBZ and then proceed to act them out. (sadly, sometimes)

- If you go out of your way to eat like a Saiya-jin. (sort of)

- If you have ever masturbated to volumes 1 and 9. (not as far as you know /jk)

- If you have made a petition to stop production of the movie (nah)

- If you would murder your first-born child and sell your soul to the Devil for the Dragon Boxes (if the opportunity arose...)

- If one of your Japanese friends comes over, sees your Dragonball DVDs, asks if you like Dragonball, and your roommate answers, "Does he like Dragonball?" like it's a stupid question or something.

Dub line. A ridiculously stupid and unfitting one at that.
