Looking for a Bardock Figure info

Post by Dayspring » Sat Dec 20, 2008 3:49 pm

A little while back, Jakks Pacific had a series of very articulate 4" or 6" toys. Their shirts/saiyan armor could come off, as well as fists be replaced with open hands. The ones I got included SSJ3 Goku, non-SSJ Vegeta (Namek Saga Armor), and Teen Gohan (wearing Goku's gi). Others from the set included Piccolo,Bardock, SSJ and non-SSJ Vegetto, as well as a black and white version of the SSJ3 Goku. When I went back for more of the figures, the only store that had it (the local Toys R Us) was sold out because they randomly marked them 75% off one day (when they sold for $8.49 to begin with).

I'm looking for the Bardock figure from this line. Does anybody know what the line might be called and where I can get the figure?

You're talking about the Ultimate Figure Series that Bandai put out, and JAKKs Pacific brought over to the US. There was no Bardock figure in that series, however. There were only 11 "Volumes" though.

Vol. 1 Goku
Vol. 2 Vegeta
Vol. 3 Vegetto
Vol. 4 SS Goku
Vol. 5 SS Vegeta
Vol. 6 SS Vegetto
Vol. 7 SS3 Goku
Vol. 8 Ultimate Gohan
Vol. 9 Gogeta
Vol. 10 Piccolo
Vol. 11 Freeza

No Bardock was ever released. Jakks put out these ugly as fuck black and white versions that made no sense, however.

UGH. In that case, what Bardock toys have been released?

If you saw a Bardock in the Ultimate Figure Series, it was probably a smaller, non-articulated one.

Other than the Hybrid one, another articulated one I know of is Jakks'. I don't know if there's one in a single-pack without the 10th Anniversary logo thing. The body sculpt reuses Raditz's sculpt...including the sculpted armband and legband.

There's also this Bardock from Irwin.

None of those are the toy I'm talking about (though I've seen the Hybrid figure a while back). Is it possible there was a Canadian exclusive of the Ultimate Figure Series?

Are you sure it wasn't a Goku someone had put Saiyan armor on?

I saw the Bardock toy myself in packaging at the store. I just didn't buy it then and there since I was getting 3 others. I REALLY wish I did, though.

Now that I've seen the Ultimate Figure Series packaging, I know for a fact that it's from that. But it's not the small 2 inch unposable ones.
