Dragonball: Advance Adventures Pics Here....

The discription is kind of wired, I really don't think they know what there talking about. "You will battle the evil king Piccolo and fight at the Budokai to become the champion" I thought it was only up to the RedRibbon Saga.

The graphics look great, but "Gok-ou"? Jeez...

Aren't those just the same screens from the magazine ad?

No, Advance Adventure is the entire series of Dragonball, start to finish. You're thinking of the Red Ribbon Saga game (a DB version of LOG), it only does to the Red Ribbon saga... hence the name (if it's actually made anyway).

<Xyex> Original Freeza never sounded like a chick to me.
<Kaboom> Neither does Rita
<Xyex> Good point.

Those silly Japanese and their "G-O-K-O-U" spellings... if *I* can move on from it, you'd hope THEY could :P. I mean, they're already using things like "F-R-I-E-Z-A" on their official sites... get a clue!

Guess I need to update...

No, they only look somewhat familiar.

For some reason, this game looks a lot like Mega Man Zero. Dunno why, probably the shot of Goku reflecting a bullet with a spinning Nyoibou (which looks a lot like Zero's Shield Boomerang), the shot of Goku using Nyoibou to knock down a bunch of enemies (like Zero's Triple Rod), Goku climbing/bouncing on Nyoibou (still Triple Rod), and the shot of Goku fighting atop Red Ribbon aircrafts look a lot like the intermission stage in MMZ2.. Probably just me, though. Then again, MMZ is a great series, and this game does look really good.

Only somewhat?

Image

Excuse the sloppy composite image, but the point I'm trying to show is that these are the same shots from the VJump announcement that Daizex reported on a while ago.

That said, they do appear to have less obstruction (probably from a different magazine) and a higher quality scan, so they're still newsworthy.

BUT, they're not extremely different by any means.

EDIT: Sorry, posted the wrong image, refresh if you see a slim strip instead of the full image.

EDIT 2: Didn't see page 2 until now, but those shots are still the same ones from the VJump announcement.
