Dragonball Z Cosplay

This is myself wearing a Tenshinhan costume at the Japan Town Anime Faire in San Francisco. I was the only Dragonball Z cosplayer there, sadly.

The hardest thing was the bald cap and eye; as you can see, my hairline is clearly visible under the cap, and the eye is clearly round.

By the way, guess who the lady is next to me in the green shirt.
I'll give you a hint: She's a voice actress who works for ADV.

I'm sorry, man. I'm sure you tried. I'm sure you tried hard to do that. The effort, and the fact that you didn't crossdress, earn you points...

What I don't get is, if you took off your glasses for the picture, why not the whole backpack fanny pack get up too?

Perhaps... but while we're on the subject, the only really *good* DBZ cosplay that I've seen personally, is Gyuumaou. No, I'm serious... EX and #18 can vouch for me (right, guys?). It was this huge, bearded guy with thick glasses. Dead on. Unless my memory's failing me... but my impression at the time was that he was remarkably well-suited as Gyuumaou (in both senses).

Pretty nuts, eh? (and could you supply a picture for me, 18?)

Yeah! What's cool is that they actually did the Saiyaman helmets, and not the easy bandana and sunglasses! ^_^ Goku looks as if he appeared in a Final Fantasy! lol
