Dragonball Z Crazy Bones

Post by saiyanprincess » Sun Jan 18, 2009 2:50 pm

I was just surfing Ebay and noticed something that may or may not appeal to you guys, There is under an hour left on the bidding so if you are interested you'll have to be quick.

Basically its an auction for 60 dragonball Z crazy bone figures (Something that was like a mad craze in the UK a few years ago.) I'll let you check it out for yourselves, Personally I have no use for them as I don't collect figures. I am unsure if they post to the USA, But you could ask them if they do not sell.

Just out of curiosity... what do Crazy Bones do, exactly? Are they like bones, just... crazier? :?

So those things are called crazy bones?

I found like 20 of them when I was cleaning out my closet the other day but I have no idea were I got them.
Did they come with something else or could you buy them separatly?

Ah here in Chicago I often heard these referred to as "dollar store shit".

If I remember I used to feed coins into these machines and get eggs come out the bottom with crazy bones inside them. I think they were called go-go's as well... You could probably get them with magazines also I don't really know was years ago.

Yeah it must have been something like that.
Then again it was like 10 years ago.

Gogo's/Jojo's, Dragohits? Yeah I was a collector too, but here in Denmark it wasn't a rare thing, I think almost every kid had them... They were like the payment/money in the school yard...

Ahh, we were talking about these in the show off your crap thread a few days ago. They came in little sealed packages, so you didn't know which ones you would get. :)

I got a package of those at a comic book store ages ago. They're...not the most detailed things in the world.

Oh god, people always talk about these like they were so popular, but they never got big in my school. We stuck with Pokemon cards.

Hell, my friend tells me about how at his old school, crazy bones were huge, and there was some Cannadian kid who asked him if he wanted to 'play for keeps'.

He won and got this HUGE Dragon Ball Crazy Bone. The kid cried apparently.

Oh my God, I remeber these. They included Lunch in the series (with her dub name: Launch) years before she ever appeared in the dub.

Ooooh you live in Chicago, awesome, me to!

Here is some info in exactly what Crazy Bones are, for those that were wondering:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crazy_Bones

I have to say that auction was a great deal, I would have pounced on that had I seen it sooner. A lot like that usually goes for like 30-40 bucks on US Ebay... Not sure why... I never owned any, but I do know that some of the characters they they did were RARELY ever done by any company ever.

All the best,

Odd that the Wikipeda page doesn't list the rules of the game that I never heard of and yet was such a huge fad with kids when I was a kid. =p

I know it's super against the rules to dig up dead threads, but, I'd like to shed some light on this.

Crazy Bones, or Krazy Bones were kids toys in the late 90s, to early 2000s. They were called Crazy Bones because they were the same as knuckle bones or jacks, only "Crazy" because they typically had characters faces on them. They came in all sorts of colors. Original Krazy Bones sell for a decent amount, especially "Eggy", who was difficult to find.

For anyone who doesn't know how knucklebones/jacks worked, congrats, your childhood consisted of more than throwing metal chunks into the air.

However, the Dragon Ball Crazy Bones faded into obscurity shortly afterwards and are now pretty difficult to find.
Oh, you think the Grand Tour is your ally, you merely stepped into the Grand Tour. I was born in it, moulded by it. I didn’t see the Super until I was already a man; by then, it was nothing to me but blinding!
