It's time for the DBZ set discuusion thread as people are getting their pre-order copies. I only have one question to ask for this set and that's

1. Has Babiddi been redubbed with Bill Townsley or was Duncan Brannan kept?

Townsley might've stepped in only because of scheduling issues. Afterall, Colleen Clinkenbeard did #18 for a game.

One of the very few voices I prefer in the dub. Awesome news. Makes me wish I was buying these.

Like I said above, I only got Season 8 for now...As for screencaps. I'll take a few later...After the Super Bowl.

And make sure that they're VLC png's so nobody can jump to conclusions about quality, leading to misinformation like with Season 7.

Just so everyone knows, I DID spot 1 (Well 2) added lines.

During the Goku/Vegeta fight, a little bit before Goku senses Buu's Ki there's a scene where Goku ducks under Vegeta's kick and then trips Vegeta. They both fall to the ground in slow motion and it shows both their faces as their falling and they're smiling. Originally this scene was silent. Now we have these added thoughts, they went something like this...

Goku: His moves are incredible.

Vegeta: FINALLY!!! I'll get to tear him apart.

I wonder why Funi's using an alternate take for this. Maybe they didn't have the final copies available anymore and are just using whatever they had?

Need clips of 5.1 track during the Majin Vegeta fight, we do. Yes.

I might just have to...wait a few months before buying this.

Nah, they just want to keep on saying "Revised English Dialogue".

Personally, I think all of their add-in's have been pointless except for adding in Vegeta's "I'll never fight again" at the end of the Cell Games.

Did they pull a GT season 1?

Do we have multiple angles? (for english and japanese dub)

Are all recaps and tv spots intact?

We always get alternate angles for these sets. I'd be surprised if we didn't.

And what do you mean, pull a GT Season 1?

Those questions are kind of useless, because the presentation has been the same since Season 1. Whereas it's necessary for the double features because they have been inconsistent presentation-wise.
