DBGT Unreleased BGM Project Finished

Post by Super 17 » Sat Feb 14, 2009 2:41 am

Hey guys I have finished uploading all the music of DBGT to youtube. There were like 5 BGM's I didn't get, but most only played once or twice in the entire series. I didn't get the Para Para brothers dance theme (slow and fast), another one that sounds like a Mexican dance (immega's marketplace title put by Kenisu3000), and like 2 others that played once that aren't important. The really important one I didn't get was the next episode preivew (Short Dan Dan BGM), since Funi didn't get the rights to dub the next episode preview with the original music. Anyways all these BGM's are in stereo quality. I have uploaded all of the BGM's in mp3 in RAR in megaupload for anyone who wants to download theme. For those who are fans of the recap theme, it's very good in audio, I suggest you download it, I have fixed the voluming of the tracks, so most are better that in the youtube ones.

First set of BGM themes

Second set of BGM themes, few are cut since the bgm's are only played so very few times in the whole series.

Third set of BGM themes, these were a little harder, but I still got them.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FS05OGnEycg&fmt=18

Fourth set of BGM themes, sorry for the Dan Dan BGM version, the audio quality changes since fini didn't remastered the episodes 52-64 like all the epsiodes are.

Fifth set of BGM themes, sorry for the Dan Dan at the beginning is so short, becuse the complete one has that SFX voice of Oozaru Goku in ep. 34.

Sixth set of BGM themes, the full complete Hitorijanai sad one, my favorite.

This is amazing quality.

How were you able to make a stereo version if this was never released on CD, and the broadcast was in mono?

THANK YOU for uploading this and the other unreleased GT BGM's to your Youtube account. I especially like the Evil Shenlong theme.

You should make a big zip file of mp3s for all the GT themes you do and post it here. :D

It is in stereo thanks to funimation's 5.1 surround mix. I was able to form the BGM using a lot of scenes with no sfx, since the talking can be taken out, unless there in a big room.

Also, with the help of Kei16, the Hitorijanai BGM was completed. It is my favorite BGM and I am glad I could finally hear it. It's complete and cleaned.

Dude. I love you.

Also, if I had to take a guess, I'd say it would take closer to six or seven parts to get all of the unreleased music from GT. And were you unable to get decent recordings of Muzak and Imegga's Marketplace? Those were ones I was unsure were actual BGM or not, but just checking.
BGM forever! If only more people paid attention to it... well, I intend to change that.

For Muzak, I doubt its an actual BGM, maybe just a radio instrumental song or something. Now for Immega's Marketplace, that BGM was so hard, especially, when you hear people in the background and can't take those vocies out. It only was played three times, and the one I thought I would get was from episode 26, when pan celebrates mexican style, but again you hear there echoes because they are in the ship which contains some kind of strange room, that makes them have echoes.

Thank you sooooooooo very, very, very much for these .mp3's!! :D Honestly, this day couldn't get any better!! The quality is amazing, and there is just sooooo much! So, this is all of the unreleased BGM from the entire show?! And do you happen to have a list of what pieces are from what episodes? I'm sorry to be asking so many questions right now...

And do you have a list of what songs you had to cut short because the sound effects couldn't be removed?

This is such a treat!! You have no idea how happy I am right now; if there's ever anything that you need, I'm always there to help in any way that I can!! :D

PS: Your last YouTube link in your first post is broken.

Yes, these are all the BGM's in the show, except for the 5 that I mentioned on my first post. As far as the list of what pieces are from which episodes, they are in order of first appearance in the series.

Just by listening which BGM's are cut, you will notice.

Fixed. Also for some reason if I put the link in HQ, it will say video not available, I don't know why you can't watch it in HQ, it was working fine until now.

Excellent! So between this and my Path to Power OST, I should have all (but 5) of the DBGT BGM? That's incredible. Thanks!

I'm assuming the next episode previews are also included in the list of cut music due to them being non-existent in the FUNi boxsets, right?

Either way, major props to you. :D

Am I the only one having codec problems with these? The only way I can get them to work is if I rename it .mp2..weird.

I have no problem listening to them as mp3s. But I did have to re-incode them to be able to burn them onto a CDR. Kinda weird.
