DBZ Season 3 Toonami Intro

Post by xzero » Tue Feb 17, 2009 5:32 pm

I'm putting this in Music because I'm really only looking for a recording. I was wondering if anyone had a high quality recording of the 30 second Toonami Season 3 intro from 1999-2000? I'm not talking about the full BGM track that was released on CD; just the audio heard with the voice clips and whatnot included ("On earth when you call the dragon, all kinds of crazy stuff happens..."). I found a clip of it on youtube, but the quality isn't all that impressive. Any help?

The toonami jetstream, but Cartoon Network killed that, too.
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

I had a file of that on my old computer, 'til that piece of shiz died on me, so I lost it. :( The track was called "Second Coming". The version I got was an Extended Calus Mix or something like that. You should be able to find it on Google, since I found it about a month ago. It doesn't have the "On earth..." dialogue by Krillin like in the promo for Toonami's Season 3 of DBZ, but it has the speech of Frieza saying "What are you?" and Super Saiyan Goku responding with "Ally to good, nightmare to you!" as the intro. It's actually pretty awesome, and definitely great quality. :P

I think it is worth mentioning that all of these awesome old Toonami Dragonball commercials are available for (low-quality) download over at Toonami Digital Arsenal:

http://www.toonamiarsenal.com/download/dbz.php
http://www.toonamiarsenal.com/download/dbgt.php

It's a great fan-site, and I'm really greatful for all of the hard work they've put into collectiong and hosting all of these videos. I made a thread on this all while back over here. No, wait, here. And here. : P
