North Kaiō's Planet is a fictional celestial body that appears in the Dragon Ball franchise, located within Universe 7, home to North Kaiō and his assistant(s), and serving as a regular visiting-space for Son Goku.
General Overview
North Kaiō's Planet was originally one hundred times larger, though otherwise much the same as it is later seen (with grassy fields and roads). At some point either during or prior to their last meeting on the planet 327 years ago[1], Beerus and North Kaiō engaged in either a spirited game of hide-and-seek or a car-racing video game[note 1]. Beerus ultimately lost their game, and destroyed the planet in retaliation. North Kaiō took a large leftover fragment, whittled it down to a sphere, and built a new road on it to continue enjoying his hobby of driving; this became North Kaiō's current planet.[2][3]
North Kaiō's Planet features gravity ten-times that of Earth.
Text overview from the series TBD
Some time before the story in Dragon Ball Super, Muri brings the Namekian Dragon Balls to the end of the Serpent Road. North Kaiō debates what to do with his wish to restore his planet, including items like a dedicated racing area and a more "gorgeous"-type feeling. Kaiō also wants to be comfortable and says the ten-times normal gravity will not do. Goku suddenly appears and exclaims that would be no good for his training! Kaiō asks why Goku is here, who responds he showed up because he heard Kaiō was restoring his planet. Goku says hello to Porunga and says the planet should be exactly the same as before. Porunga says he understands, and repeats the wish back to the group, and the planet is restored back to normal.[4]

Notes
- ↑ In an on-going "Dragon Ball Q&A" within the "Full Color" release of the Dragon Ball manga in Japan, the third volume of the Saiyan arc sees Akira Toriyama explain that Beerus lost in a car-racing video game against North Kaiō, which then resulted in the planet's destruction. The next month, the theatrical film Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods sees Whis explain in dialog that Beerus lost a game of hide-and-seek, which then resulted in the planet's destruction.
