Think we may be getting a tad carried away with the SSJ4 suggestions seeing as Neither Goten or Trunks were born with a tail?

I'm sure if you had one, it can grow back sure. But the gene skipped them. It would be a bit silly to have these guys popping tails all of a sudden.

Enough with the new SSJ levels.

I really hope this turns out to be well scripted.

Can't stand the thought of -

1) Gohan being able to turn SSJ without some sort of explanation (otherwise this discussion will only get worse).
2) The story following the all-too-familiar pattern of Z Fighters/Gohan/Vegeta get beaten, Goku gets ...

I'd like to point out that "Saike" is simply Japanese shorthand for "psychedelic", because (inexplicably?) this is how the anime staff characterized the music he listens to.

Now that we've got Super Saiyan girls and the, well... monstrosity that is SSJ3 GT Trunks it's a pretty safe bet that we should be getting Super Saiyan Pan and Super Saiyan 3 Goten.

What's really getting to me though is that none of these characters have been given Super Saiyan 2.

I guess this completely and utterly contradicts the Dragonball Online storyline, seeing as Bardock can't be saved from death if he's been blasted 1000 years into the past...

Now that I've thought about it, I don't think the create-a-character mode looks any good at all.

All you an select from is a bunch of pre-set, existing characters' costumes and palette swap them.

The hair styles are literally going to be the only thing that sets them apart.

I've got to admit, whether he fought or not, not having Base Teen Gohan is just absolutely ridiculous.

I don't mind small character rosters but this game's selection is just ridiculous. What's the point of SSJ4 Gogeta and Omega being playable if no other GT Characters are? No Goku/Vegeta as Super ...

Just on the off chance, does anyone know of any gameplay footage of Gotan/Gokule floating around?

Ah cr*p not again - if you look at around 1:22 in the video you can see that tails don't turn golden when transformed as a Super Saiyan.

GT is in the game, so that should generally be the case, but it makes sense as well. If your hair turns golden why wouldn't any fur/hair on your body. Laaaaaaazy.

Where does it say that the what-if's have been removed?

I, for one, am quite happy. I like the fact that the character's old moves and models have been re-used. There's nothing wrong with them (Goku's face aside) and Gohan's rush actually connects with the opposing character this time round, which ...

This game is turning out to be quite a surprise. I like the idea of these 'What-If' characters simply being alternate timelines/universes of the DBZ world, seeing as we all know that they are feasible.

I'd love to see an official name for Frieza's race though. I really think that it's about time ...

A touch of nostalgia I whipped up

Only think that concerns me about Hatchiyack is that his ki volley move shoots off super slow, and is a little bulky.

I'm looking forward to Neiz as well, and Dore as long as he has SOME kind of ki attack. I HATE characters with only rush moves.
