Re: DBZ Kai coming to Toonami
I think it'll either take Bleach's spot when it leaves, or it'll take the spot left open by Naruto: Shippuden, One Piece, or Space Dandy if one of them moves into Bleach's timeslot . . . regardless, it's going on early on the block. As far as editing is concerned, it will probably be aired ...

Re: Swear words
"Damn", "hell", and "bastard" are fine (in my opinion) in their uses for the series.
"Shit" (and "piss") work but in limited amounts and in the right situations. Using them in the Dragon Ball series can work (and did in Kai), but they shouldn't be used as the go to translation for certain things ...

Re: Ocean Studios' "Dragon Ball Kai" dub seems to be coming.
reminiscent of the original FUNimation/Ocean/Saban-dub Oh dear lord no, Faulconer, Johnson, Menza even Megaman music. ANYTHING but the Shuki Levy score.
I would've liked to have seen Kai with the Faulconer score as an OPTION on the blu-rays. I enjoyed Levy's score because of how . . . "dark" it ...

Re: Has TFS damaged the reputation of the franchise in the U
I effin' love "DBZ Abridged," but it's crystal-clear to me that the guys at TFS love the show, and that their show, beyond being a parody, is also somewhat of a homage/tribute. I'm sure there will be a small sliver of fans out there who believe that any kind of parody constitutes an intentional ...

Re: Unpopular DB opinions
1. I liked the Garlic Jr. arc
2. I hate the redone scenes in Kai; I think they look disgusting
3. I prefer Ian James Corlett's Goku over Peter Kelamis' Goku
4. Even though I enjoyed Dragon Ball (probably more than Z) with the original score, I'd like to hear it with a score similar to that of the ...

Re: Ocean Studios' "Dragon Ball Kai" dub seems to be coming.
I REALLY hope that was just a test. I hope that when (if) it gets released, it has some of the Ocean cast singing "Dragon Soul" instead.
I'm hoping that the delay is because Ocean Studios is waiting to have the Buu Saga completed before they release it. However if FUNi Buu Saga Kai comes and goes ...
