There are many aspects of the post-Buu arc era that I like myself (GT's concepts, Battle of, Daima, etc...), but I can't help but wonder how the franchise would be viewed artistically if it stuck to the original run.

Just simply streamline it to be the standard 12/13 episodes long anime. No much further change than that.

There's another plot hole at the very last scene nobody mentions. Bulma found a way to de-age her skin 10 years, and we see her use the dragon balls for cosmetics a lot lately too. However, in EoZ, Goku himself points out that she's aged a lot, and it's claimed she hadn't seen Goku for 5 years ...

The first 2/3 of the series is clearly stronger than the last third but the series still remained enjoyable and fun.
