Future Dragon Ball productions will probably still say something on the lines of "Based on the manga by Akira Toriyama" regardless of how much posthumous work he did for those.

Dragon Ball could go in a direction where there are multiple different 'canons', like Marvel. Stan Lee passed away, but ...

A part of me hopes Dragon Ball continues and that Akira Toriyama provided somewhat of an outline for a few future arcs for Toyotaro to work on. I think Black Frieza might be one of those, and eventually they will get animated.

Not sure what will become of Daima now though, and where that would fit ...

Because I wouldn't go by a teaser trailer just yet. That could have been something put together to announce the title.

If we get a trailer showing actual scenes of the movie, then it might be safe to say it is CGI or 2D.

I expected Beerus to be emotional at the loss of his brother.

He was. He just bottled it up.

But that probably makes him want Universe 7 to win even more, not only for self preservation, but to get a wish to at least bring back Universe 6.

The bigger question is, will we see Beerus show sadness? Champa is his brother, but also a chief rival.

Being erased by Zeno still results in death, just a more nihilistic version of death where there really is nothing after.
