Re: What era of DB were you exposed to?

I got into DBZ first when it was on tv on Cartoon Network and Toonami. I remember first watching the Ocean dubs of the "Saiyan Conflict" and "Namek Saga" and I bought them all on. VHS.

I couldn't wait for Z-day when Toonami released the rest of the Frieza saga and was definitely thrown off by the ...

Re: Was Garlic Jr. so popular and Toei brought him back?

As other posters have said, I think that the reason they used Garlic Jr. in the filler arc between Frieza's defeat on Namek and his return when Trunks shows up is because Movie #1 fits in the most easily with the anime canon. It kind of makes Dead Zone a prequel to the beginning of Z by bringing the ...

When did the Z fighters learn to fly?

I recently finished a DB rewatch and I couldn't seem to remember the part when Goku and everyone else learned to fly. Was it when Goku was training at Kami's place after he killed King Piccolo? Or was it some other time and I just can't remember it? Or was it just never really explained and we just ...

Re: Thoughts on Raditz

It was a crime what they did to Raditz. You would think the person who tells Goku of his origins, what the Saiyans do, and the fact that he's Goku's older brother would play a bigger role.

He literally vanished into thin air after he died. He isn't in any filler, even when they show the Other ...

Re: imagine a season dragon ball

Nah, they just don't care. All they care is a safe way to maximize profit, and since Dragon Ball will always attract money, they just spend the minimum without risking more than that.

Yeah but it just pisses me off how pathetic and just greedy that is. Like if they put more money into it and ...

Re: DB and DBZ: Parts vs Whole

Hey guys I'm new to posting on Kanzanshuu. I first watched DBZ as a kid on Toonami and was instantly hooked to it from like 9- my early teenage years. I saw all of DBZ and watched most of DB but never finished it, and also never saw GT. Then I just kinda grew out of it and went to college and got ...

Re: imagine a season dragon ball

What makes Super's production worse is that Toie thinks they're doing a good job with it.

Nah, they just don't care. All they care is a safe way to maximize profit, and since Dragon Ball will always attract money, they just spend the minimum without risking more than that.

Yeah but it just ...
