no, I don’t believe he’d let a villain hurt a third party just so he could have a good fight. the fact that Cell needs to absorb 18 to power up would stop Goku from letting him, otherwise he’d do it.

also in the event that he did let Cell absorb 18, Trunks would stop him and Goku wouldn’t fight one ...

Love this picture. Since Ultra Instinct is not race exclusive, the concept of non Saiyan main cast characters gaining ultra instinct would be interesting. Though highly unlikely unfortunately.

What I truly care about right now is its accessibility. Is it going to be a saiyan-only thing again, or will other races (humans, namekians, etc.) will be able to tap it under the right circumstances?

I wondered the same thing about 18. I think it's quite likely that she could know it, since Krillin taught her the kienzen, he likely also taught her other attacks

For me, Nadolny was a good Goku but as far as Gohan's pre-pubescent years go, Clinkenbeard was a better choice.

imo all the power of Evil Buu was latent power, ergo Evil Buu is stronger than Fat Buu's placid state before, and also stronger than Kid Buu who no longer has the latent power of the Kaoishins Buu absorbed.
