You know what's the weirdest part about this tidbit of lore? People from the Demon Realm are nor part of the multiverse... but that would include Dabra and Buu. And we know they existed in Trunks' timeline.

I don't really mind, not sure it's a waste on him either. The actual Buu created by the witch is already dead and reincarnated into Uub. Our lovely Mr. Buu is just the leftovers of his conscience that developed by absorbing people.
