It's getting interesting (I still don't like that new Namekian lore about Dragon Balls) but the more and more I'm getting into this story, the more I'm disappointed that it's resolving around Goku and Vegeta. Again. I'm seriously bored of these two.

After re-reading Ch. 27 on my break, Ch. 40 makes A LOT more sense from Vegeta's perspective. He's begrudgingly undergone through Whis' teachings, and didn't even want to take any compliments from him. That's clearly not his style.

I didn't mind this chapter, it got rid of the riff raff so we can focus on the important characters. Toriyama shouldn't have never made it 12 universes in the first place, it could have just been 6 universes with only 4 of them competing in the Tournament of Power.

How I always processed this was, Goku Black started off as extremely weak so he relied on Zenkai's to help him draw out Goku's powers little by little. With every god dead, there was no one to watch over and keep order in the universes. We don't know how long it would've taken for a new Kaioshin to grow from the Kaiju tree and a new Hakaishin to be appointed thus were Future Zeno's actions really justified?

I'm still confused on how he attained it.
