Such a weird fight but if it stops new half assed content like super and it's related millennials who refuse to admit were adults now and need to force the next generation to like what we did as kids do they can cling to the corpse of there youth slop from being made it'll be for the best.

Re: Which English dub terms are legit translations and not just Funi shit
But all of that is peanuts compared to when Funimation called Cell an android. That's the one thing I can't let slide lol I understand why he would be an "artificial human," or a man-made living organism--fine. But he's nowhere near an android.
Yeah, it's such a pain in the A to try to ...

A cool add on question would be what bad translations came from toei and ether funi(or harmony gold in a few cases) weren't allowed to change them or didn't know to change them because early on their trusted toei bad translations too much

Kineko literally put it on the cat website before anywhere else but yeah go off about Patreon as if you know something was leaked when nothing was far as anyone can tell. Not like the people complaining about kineko have any actual skills, connections, or teams or they would have been doing this way ...

I'm heartbroken... I only pray his family can grieve in peace without being harassed and that toei doesn't piss on his grave by continuing dragon ball with more 1/10 level work and kill the name of Dragon ball

Re: Your experience of watching Dragon Ball/Dragon Ball Z/ Dragon Ball GT Dragon boxes on CRT-tv?
I own a CRT but I don't really see the benefits in watching Dragon Ball on it.
Did you try? Won't it make pixel problems of dvds on a modern TV disappear?
On larger screens you'll still see them. On low quality screens tiny in size they made hide some but not all. Then there's crt flicker ...

dragon ball z Kai nicktoons vs bluray/DVD sound mixing, is one really better than the other?
For over a decade now I've seen talk from the fandom of the nicktoons stereo broadcast of Kai having much better sound mixing than the DVDs/blurays and their 5.1 sound tracks. I finally got around to testing for myself over the weekend and comparing the first few episodes. I didn't find anything ...

I was sorta hoping people would point out "Well James Masters acted on Dragon Ball didnt he?"
Okay.

So...what else is there to talk about pertaining to Dragon Ball?
We could always talk about how scummy Crunchyroll is to outright ...

Re: Differences in the DBGT Funimation dub between the original single DVDs and the green bricks?
There are line differences and voice filters changed between the sags sets and blue bricks. Such as the robot in the red ribbon cave in the general blue saga having a voice filter. I don't remember all the others off the top of my head though.

Re: The people who grew up with Censored and or modified Dragon Ball
I don't see how a dub as faithful or more than the budokai games etc would have stopped db dbz dbgt from being a hit on toonami. Sure they may have had to edit out Goku's gentialia and some of the more bad roshi stuff but the core action adventure goofy fun of the show would still be there. It's not ...

Differences in the DBGT Funimation dub between the original single DVDs and the green bricks?
I knew og dragon ball and z both had a handful of line and voice filter differences between their original DVD releases and their [color] brick relases. But does anyone know if gt had any of those too for it's original DVD run vs the Greek bricks release?

the opinion that the modifications created an arrested development fandom that sees kiddy shonen anime as the end all of Japanese entertment and entertainment in general.
dragon ball has been a "kiddy shonen" since it was created back inthe 80s. way before any dub of it was ever made. its ...

Re: Racism and the Dragon Ball fandom
While there is racism everywhere dbz is one of probably the two most racially diverse fandoms(Naruto being the other). So by and large thankfully ours isn't too bad. That said when certain people go out of their way to gate keep what language a children's cartoons should be watched in. What gender ...

why would anyone want that? even if it could be done decently why would anyone want hollywood to get their hands on more anime properties again? just so we can go to "le normies" and say "ha our stuff is popular and not just for losers?" i'll never understand it
