They are in the same saga. I'm talking about antagonists in different sagas, not versions of the same antagonist in the same saga. Buu > Cell > Freeza > Vegeta.

Dragon Ball (at least when authored and thoroughly reviewed by Akira Toriyama as in this case) generally follows the formula of New Antagonist > Previous Antagonist / New Saga Power Levels > Previous Saga Power Levels.

Gogeta as he appeared in the Broly saga is not stronger than Moro.

You could even relate it back to how the Piccolo arc establishes those killed by demons don't pass on into the afterlife, and that every other version of Boo contained at least a little bit of Kaioshin in him making him not a full demon/Majin/whatever

I thought the same thing but no, Hell Fighter 17 looks exactly like Android Saga 17, and actual 17 is the one with the long coat, the EoZ 17 outfit.

I don't understand the marketing for this game at all at this point. The content they plan to release looks like things that should've been in the game in the first place from the roster to the game modes.

He's pretty much the only variant of 17 they CAN include besides the original since the original is barely different between the normal & Future Trunks timelines & they gave him his Super clothes as an alternate outfit, iirc, so they probably figured why not.

The game pretty much JUST sticks to what Toriyama either wrote, or had a hand in. This means: The manga, the 2 Z TV specials (even though he rebooted Bardock in Minus, but there's barely anything there to adapt, so I get it), Battle of Gods, Resurrection F ...

The way I always understood that is that they don't give their entire strenght to the Genkidama, otherwise they'd end up lying dead on the ground instead of just being exhausted, they just give a significant fraction of energy, but not the full thing.

Fun fact: As a result of being the one to rip out Fat Buu from Super Buu's system, Vegeta is technically the one who defeated Super Buu. The strongest villain in the series was defeated by someone messing with his digestive system; classic Toriyama. 8) :lol:

Saw the trailer, I'm conflicted

I love the world, how different and fresh it feels from every other DB videogame, reminiscent of DB Online, we even got to see a Saiyan with a tail in the far future which is nice to know that Saiyans genes will keep going strong
