Does this seriously strongly suggest that there will be nothing new about the manga during the entire run of the remake anime? If ends up being the case then I think I was right when saying that Jump Festa would have nothing.
And there's the possibility that Shueisha, CCT and Toei agreed that 2027 would be reserved for the rest of the remake, Xenoverse 3 and (possibly) the Moro arc being the new Dragon Ball content for that year while they'll keep the manga in the fridge.
So I guess my hope to see it returning soon may indeed be dead. Toyo, It's ovah.

Stop pyching yourselves out about it and just focus on other hobbies. The comic will inevitably return some day, let yourself be pleasantly surprised when it does.

The thing is that I think it's important to point out when there's a change. This one in specific has a detail, as previously they always used the typical message "will remain on hiatus in the next issue". But this time they didn't, they just said a generic "on hiatus" without specifying that it's for the next month, then proceed to telling us to watch the remake anime in this meantime.
That can be interpreted as being the next month only, but also the next months, as well as the months of the entire run of the new anime and also further than that.
And yeah it was a problem that they kept giving the same message every month and the manga never returned, but they were at least specific about it, now they were just straight up vague about it which works just like the indefinite hiatus message that they use for the websites for more than a year, and VegettoEX has already shown something that makes this even more concerning, there's the possibility we won't see that old message being used again for example.
But you're right about should focus on other things, just think this detail couldn't go unnoticed through, it's at least useful to kill more hopes lol.

Not at all, it's the Tweet author who wrote that description.
Honestly it's actually worse because that'd be slight confirmation it would be returning after the remake, but now we're still stuck with nothing
On the other hand this might still mean Jump Festa has a chance to announce it's return.
I think at this point it's safe to say the manga won't be returning at all; whatever comes after Granola will be handled by the anime's staff, maybe with Toyotaro's involvement if he's lucky.

I just saw that, thank you for the clarification, I still would like to know what the content actually says though, if there's even any mention to the manga or the typical message from before, if not then it would be the worst scenario.

I don't think so given their history, unless they want to do something like what was done during the run of Daima, when they announced chapter 104, but I think it was a different ocasion, so idk, i think it's more likely that they would wait for the remake to end, the "do not announce this product yet, or else it will steal attention given to this other product" mentality, or they could also go the "let's hype it more" mode, especially if the remake ends up flopping, let's see.

I wouldn't fully commit to that at first, but indeed him removing the "I draw Dragon Ball Super for the V-Jump magazine" message from his bio and changing to something that suggests that he can't return to it should mean something. It's still on his Instagram but he hasn't udpated it since last year.

I think they want the anime to be the main product, so whatever is going on with Black Freeza will be resolved there following the adaption of the Granola arc. The anime just generated more hype and revenue than the manga, so having something like Black Freeza debut there first will be a massive deal.
That would only happen if Shueisha and CCT agreed that this was the direction for the series moving forward, the fact that they have to adapt two arcs and a half already finished in the manga into an anime format was just a matter of timing that ended up being inconvenient for them. After that, they might not even make an anime, maybe a movie instead, or, regardless of the format, we’d have to wait until 2030 for the manga to return, and even then, it might just be to see an adaptation of a single arc or movie.
And it would be a terrible long wait, Unless Toyotaro is willing to do it, but he won't be getting any younger until there, which may also result in him losing his patience, if that's what they have planned then it would be better for him to retire in my view or relocate him to work in another series in the meantime. There's still a bit more than 3 years for this decade to end after all.

V Jump reposted Toyotaro's reply to the father who reached out to Toyotaro in behalf of his kid. I think this is quite interesting and significant:
Hear and see here: https://youtu.be/qWOW1aZfe9E?t=132
I think the fact that they aren't coming back with it Next Month or November shows that they aren't worried about capitalizing on the moment while there's also a new anime with the same name airing. Unless they really want to wait until the Jump Gesta in December so they can analyse if the remake is being a success, and if it would be a good idea to bring back the manga during its run.
As for the retweet, I would think it's interesting and significant too... if it wasn't for the fact that this V Jump account occasionaly retweets some of Toyotaro's posts that are Dragon Ball related. So to me it's more likely that this was just them promoting the creators they have when they are promoting their properties, even if they are casual posts. Gave an example below which I believe works in a similar vein to that one Toyotaro retweet.
Spoiler:
I think people saw this as possible indication of something happening behind the scenes because Toyotaro makes more posts than that and V jump choose to repost that one amongst the few they repost. But I personally would be surprised if it was the only one.
And the message in the Toyotaro Tried to Draw I believe it's because it's being used to promote the remake anime, the latest two drawings were of characters exclusive to the old Super anime.

The Dragon Ball Super comic was never the 'main product', as far as a 'main product' even existed. The cartoon was always moving along as its own drum beat, even to the point of being where a lot of new characters and transformations were first introduced. Given that Iyoku can have more control by being involved with the animation side of things and doesn't have to be involved with the comic, where I'm sure there's bad blood with Shueisha, my guess is that animation will be where we see new things continue to be introduced.
The problem, of course, is that Iyoku Akio seems to suck as a producer. We'll see how that unfolds now that he can't get Toriyama involved in micromanaging story and character stuff, though. Dragon Ball: The Galactic Patrol is going to be the first real test of a post-Toriyama landscape.

I don't think it's super safe to say just yet
May not be super safe but we now have the animation department working more independently from Shueisha, and so far, they saw no issues with the anime and manga literally changing roles, that means the opposite of the late 2018-2024 scenario where there was no anime other than a movie lost in the middle and a new anime that had nothing to do with the brand, but the manga continued. Now there's more anime while the manga is paralyzed with no sign of return. The reason that there was no new Super anime being problems such as the rights dispute.
If we see both the anime and manga as "main products", then the anime has been their focus and only main product since late 2024 because since then they decided to only release a one shot chapter of the manga and hadn't show any interest in continuing it. While the anime they were happy to already announce one that may only be coming out in 2028, and again nothing about the manga. This while we are in a scenario where supposedly there is no longer any problem related to the rights or something else between the companies behind the scenes.
And the latest VJump highlights the new anime while (supposedly, I still want the actual info on that) not saying that the manga will continue on hiatus in the next issue.
CCT also naturally having 0 interest in the manga apparently as Akio Iyoku wanted the rights to the anime and games only. Meaning that they very likely see the manga as maybe not even something secondary, but tertiary.
And if Shueisha has no issues with that, then they very likely would also have no issue in not returning with the manga anytime soon.
So the anime can indeed go its own way. I think for those who want it to follow the manga, the hope would be the fact that they want to adapt the Moro arc, which obviously would be followed by Granolah then extended Super Hero arcs. So that does suggest that they want to follow the manga, they could've very well just announced a new anime with new original story instead of a remaster and a adaptation.

Even if it worked that way, the manga and the anime were both sort of "aligned" with each other, because they both had to follow Toriyama's outlines, that means they had a source to work from.
This was pretty mcuh the rule of this revival era since Super started, they never did something that escaped from Toriyama's outlines, at best only derivative content such as the old anime exclusive scenes, transformations, characters and filler episodes. As well as Toyotaro's ideas for the manga such as SSJG Vegeta or the ideas for the movies such as Shintani's green haired form for Broly.
Then the anime ended and Toyotaro's own story came.
I wonder if for the anime, they are going to follow Toyotaro's story, or create something new inspired by it? Maybe they aren't willing to adapt it but rather taking ideas from Toyotaro in order to build a new story. Same question goes for the Super Hero prologue arc.
For the Granolah arc, Toriyama provided an outline just like he did with the Champa-ToP arcs, but also had a lot of Toyotaro's hand on it.
Maybe if Toei gets access to Toriyama's outlines for the arc, they'll be creating the anime from it and insert their own ideas like they did with the arcs in the old anime, ignoring Toyotaro's ideas instead of adapting the story we already have? Same question goes for the Super Hero main and epilogue arcs.
Also, I think there's a possibility that maybe Shueisha, knowing that the Moro arc was entirely made by Toyotaro, is waiting to see if the animated adaptation will be a success or not, because if it succeeds, then it's going to be the reason they'll greenlight the continuation of the manga.
But there's also the possibility that not even that would serve as a reason to resume it, due to the Moro arc still falling under the "Toriyama worked on this" Era regardless.
Well anyway, we'll have to wait, honestly I'm more excited to find out what might have happened / might be happening behind the scenes than waiting for the new animes to release lol, unfortunately I don't think we'll get to know anything.

I imagine that the animated version of the Moro arc will be based on whatever ideas that Toriyama had and then go from there. The animation side of things has never seemed particularly concerned with adapting anything from Toyotarou's comic. What Toyotarou does with his comic is really no different than a random Toei Animation animated film from the 1980s and 1990s: both are just Dragon Ball projects owned by Toriyama and therefore subject to be regurgitated however they please.
If Iyoku Akio has a way to attribute the Dragon Ball Super: The Galactic Patrol to Toriyama Akira, he's going to do it. The fact that Toyotarou has not been trotted out by Iyoku as a promotional device is proof enough that he really has no need for him, especially given how Iyoku apparently didn't care about the comic rights when he managed to convince Toriyama to allow him to form Capsule Corp Tokyo and take over the handling of the licensing and such.

I'm not sure it will be, in particular, since it's likely to be a faithful adaptation of an existing manga arc.
No idea what to expect for the manga now, but I think the idea of the powers that be not wanting their big new animation arc (Moro) to simultaneously compete with a big new first-time story arc in the manga is likely something in the mix holding it back.
They probably could do both, but I can see why they might want to go all in on promotion for just one big focus arc, cynical as that may be.
My continued interest in new mainline story stuff basically lives and dies with whether it's another manga arc under Toyotaro.

I mean, insofar as, is Toriyama going to be going over each script? I kind of doubt these things were written while he was still among us. I think the test is, whatever The Galactic Patrol is adapting—whether it's adapting from Toyotarou's comic ala the typical animated series adaption of a comic or if the series is drawing only from an outline that Toriyama wrote—we're going to see if the scripts feel more like cohesive episodes ala Dragon Ball Super (2015) or if we're going to wind up with the strange disjointedness that we saw from Dragon Ball Daima.
I strongly doubt the anime will diverge from the manga in any big ways here. Like, with the previous arcs the manga and anime were being created separately based off Toriyama's notes, but in this case, Galactic Patrol is Toyotaro's story... even if they are massively disrespecting him already by not acknowledging it as such. But I doubt they would massively diverge from the already completed, already fleshed-out narrative that exists. They have more than keywords to go off of this time. I mean sure, the anime will probably not be identical, but I can't imagine we're going to get anything a la the Tournament of Power where the manga and anime have almost nothing in common besides Goku obtaining Ultra Instinct while fighting Jiren, and the end being Goku and Freeza dragging Jiren out of the ring with them leaving #17 the last man standing. On a scene-to-scene basis, I have to imagine we're mostly going to be seeing slight tweaks and occasional expansions on what Toyotaro wrote.
...There is admittedly one thing that points against this though, which is how much they changed when adapting Battle of Gods for Super... but then immediately after that they adapted Resurrection F in a way that pretty much was a scene-for-scene retelling with occasional tweaks to address complaints with the movie. (Not that those tweaks actually helped much, but I have to imagine fan complaints were the reasoning for things such as Freeza no longer claiming he could attain a battle power of one million or Goku powering down before Sorbet sniped him.) So okay, we have two prior examples to point to of them making a TV story based off an already finished piece of writing, one of which was mostly the same and the other which only broadly hit the same points.
...Toyotaro's own adaptation of Super Hero was also almost identical to the movie, for that matter. Somehow both in the manga and the anime, Battle of Gods specifically got altered a lot but was the only movie to get that treatment.

The manga version of the Beerus arc also adopted some of the new narrative points and changes that the anime featured, such as the cruise, Goku receiving money from Satan, Beerus going to a planet to eat etc.
Some of these were in chapters released prior to the anime episodes, so either Toyotaro had a first look at them before they were released so he could get some inspiration for the visual part of the manga, or the most likely to me, which is that Toriyama actually provided a slightly different scenario for the arc (implied by Iyoku) and both Toyotaro and Toei expanded on it with their own ideas. And we also ended up seein more from Toei's side while Toyotaro had the story trimmed.
Also there was DBS Broly, which despite being completely skipped in the manga, whenever Toyotaro illustrated it for flashbacks, differences can also be seen, the most notable is Broly lacking his bulkier green haired form, which can be connected to the commentary by Naohiro Shintani for the movie, where he said that transformation was his idea and not Toriyama's. In the manga Broly is only seen with yellow hair fighting SSJB Goku and Vegeta and the same form is seen being used to fight SSJB Gogeta, which opposes what is seen in the movie.
So I think there's a huge possibility that the arc version of Battle of Gods in both the anime and manga used Toriyama's notes, same goes for DBS Broly which Toei decided to expand on to the point of giving Broly an extra form while Toyotaro decided to be more faithful to Toriyama's original intent.
So the only movie stories that would be 1:1 are Fukkatsu no 'F' and Super Hero, but what I mean in the end is that theoretically all of those stories in Super worked with Toriyama providing his outlines so Toei and Toyotaro could expand on his ideas, or just reproducing them without adding much which is what 2015 and 2022 movies did.
The only exception to this being the Moro arc because like you said, it's essentialy Toyotaro's story, and it's a complete story.
So they are going to adapt a story that was pretty much developed outside of the established rule, they don't need to fill the gaps where more details and creativity is demanded like the Toriyama outlines did.
The potential of the story diverging a lot from this source only being if CCT and Toei are indeed willing to ignore any creative output from Toyotaro.
So far we only have a image, only showing Goku and Vegeta, the title being "The Galactic Patrol", not "The Galactic Patrol Prisoner" for example, which can very well be simply because they thought the title would be too long. But I also think that this could imply that they are only going to use the setting of the Galactic Patrol and some other ideas from the arc and create a entirely new story. Maybe they can even change character designs if they want.
The counterpoint to this would be the V-Jump page that came shortly after, showcasing the adaptation with the arc from the manga, showing Moro's first design, this suggests they may be faithful when adapting it, which may also lead to faithful adaptations of Toyotaro's ideas for the Granolah arc, Super Hero arc and whathever comes after.
A possible red flag for that in my view though is the Super Beerus anime. What if Iyoku / CCT wants to go in their own direction with the anime, but something happened, maybe Shueisha pushed them, that before going to that territory, they would need to adapt the manga exclusive arcs first, mainly because of the latest two arcs having Toriyama's involvement. Regardless of that, they would still need to go through the Moro arc one way or the other.
Maybe that's why they anticipated the Moro arc, announcing it like 2 years prior to its release, they are rushing and want to cover the remaining stories from the manga and made by Toriyama already.
Super Beerus in this case is being done because they need a new Dragon Ball anime releasing every year, more specifically one that follows Toei's seasonal anime schedule, starting at the fall of the year and ending at the spring of the next year, which is what happened to Daima and will repeat with Super Beerus.
Maybe what they wanted was the Galactic Patrol to already start this October, not 2027 or 2028, but given how they're now more worried about the technical quality of the product, they delayed it, and to not leave a blank space in the deal in 2026, they decided to make a partial remake series, which is not originally part of their plans and not something they are going to put all their efforts and investment on, because this is a side project purely made to buy time, so it won't be a remake done from scratch for that reason as they are rushing and want to focus on delivering the manga exclusive arcs already.
This could also explain why they aren't covering the Zamasu and ToP arcs for example, they aren't worried about the sudden skip and the people who'll need to switch to the old anime, or the manga and the 2018 movie in order to understand the full story.
So there's the possibility that even if the remake ends up being a success, we may not even end up seeing remakes of the Zamasu and Top arcs (and Broly) anytime in the future because Super Beerus' task was to simply serve as their escape route for time constraints and potential contractual issues. After that they won't need to do any "enhanced edition" again as they can focus solely on adapting the manga exclusive arcs and remaking Super Hero in 2D. After that they may be free to do anything they want and who knows what Shueisha will do about the manga.
I may be wrong, but let's wait and see, if we don't get enhanced versions of the Zamasu and ToP in the future, this could be the reason for it.
And if the manga returns when the Moro arc starts airing, I'll personally see as more proof for it, that maybe they saw 2026 as this "sabbatical year" where they had to deliver a new anime even if it's just a partial remake, and that the manga should only resume in 2027, which will be when the true new anime starts and will be a year with even more content due to the new videogame.
