Re: Official "Show off your Dragonball Crap" Thread
Hey what's up everybody... Haven't stopped by here in a bit. I spend most of my time lurking around over on DBT but I figured I should share this with the rest of the community as well. I recently got around to beginning to catalogue my collection and although this album isn't totally complete... It ...

Re: Dragon Boxes 1-7 For Sale
Wow... I just read the comments in this thread and got a bit perturbed. Tommy (thelegendary117) is beyond legit when it comes to sales. I have purchased numerous DB related toys from him over on the dragonballtoys forums. Kid doesn't have a dishonest bone in his body. Tommy just a heads up for the ...

Re: Most expensive Dragon Ball items you have seen
1 of 20 Ichiban kuji Goku oozaru figure, blackout edition with letter of authenticity from banpresto. I've only ever seen two in all my years of collecting. I own one and the other sold on yahoo auctions jp for the equivalent of about 3000 USD. I have seen higher priced items but that's the most ...

Early 1996 , a shop in my area was getting in fan sub bootlegs of the movies. My first dragonball purchase ever was the Bojack movie. It was instant love that continues to this day.

Re: Mike's Upcoming JPNS Toy Releases Thread
Valid point but, in general knock offs tend to be inferiorly made products that will end up just falling apart. It is indeed up to a buyer to decide the value of an item but... I don't like the fact that many buyers are mislead into buying bootlegs by unscrupulous sellers.

Re: Mike's Upcoming JPNS Toy Releases Thread
Definitely knockoffs. The paint is off, the real figures don't have those awkward leans, no legit figure should have scuffs new out of the box, and the dead give away..... No gold toei sticker on the front of the box. See that little rectangle on the front face of the package with the dotted outline ...

Re: Mike's Upcoming JPNS Toy Releases Thread
^^ i hate to break this to you guys but.... everything that guy has listed is bootleg for the most part. The luffy / goku crossover set absolutely is. You REALLY need to be careful when purchasing from china , hong kong and the like. Most sellers over there have knock off junk. There are a few ...

Re: Mike's Upcoming JPNS Toy Releases Thread
Is there any more news on these upcoming figures? I guess not since nobody has said anything. I'm really interested too.
On another note, does anybody know what this figure is all about?

Re: How Much is TOO Much for a Daizenshuu?
I paid 11-19 USD before shipping for each of mine from my friend in japan. This was within the past 2 months. They were all in new condition. Volume 7 was the most expensive at 19 dollars and volume 1 was the cheapest at 11. The rest averaged about 14 bucks apiece.

Drabaz that's my plan dude. I've got about 7 custom ladies now, plus all the standard issue pichi pichi girls , I plan on devoting a shelf in my display case to just the chicks... And roshi as a centerpiece. The old man deserves some love.

Re: What's your most recent Dragonball purchase?
nice score Raithos, i actually received a custom version of that very figure today, as well as a chi-chi. My bud also threw a random clock and wallet in the box too... the clock is cool but i have no clue what I'm going to do with this wallet, its huge and honestly pretty cheesy in my eyes.
Anyways ...
