I've only ever seen the english dub of Z so it may of been more clear in the manga or original jap version but to me it didn't seem like he was pretending there, it came across like ...

You mean like Burst Limit...?

Sonic Warriors had much faster and better air combat then Burst Limit, especially in the movement department. If they could incorporate that into a burst limit/budokai style game that would be good.

Basically what I'm saying is have the land based combat of Burst ...

Personally I'd love to see them make a game with a mix of Super Sonic Warriors and Budokai elements.

Take the budokai ground gameplay and throw in the air combat of Super Sonic Warriors and it would be pretty awesome imo.
