My guess is that the way the branching was set up for the next episode previews might've made it too complicated to add in even more branching for the marathon mode, though it's the one area of DVD production I never really messed with back in the day. I'm guessing it's something like this.

Note that though, since Box 5 onwards the boxes were released in a completely different style :wink:

The only difference I can see is that there is a huge picture on the front of the box as opposed to just black.
The DVD covers have changed as well :wink:
