So they're done with these come December. Any possible future release... has to be good right? They wouldn't go and do a hypothetical subsequent release that's also blurred/smeared over, would they?

Every time I read "Oh see they're good now" I look at the screenshots in full resolution and see at least some degree of blurriness if there's any thing outside the extreme foreground.

While the state of physical media is precarious to say the least, I certainly hope there will eventually somehow be an acceptable HD release of DBZ. That said I can live with the Dragon Boxes.

With movie 5, a lot of it doesn't sound so great. Some is ok and fits the scene, but not as much as the Japanese music. Movie 4 I've never seen in Japanese but it may be a thing of sounded ok then, but not so much now, kinda like how the Great Wakkorotti cartoons aren't as good when you're an adult ...

Well, I think that's it really. The way Funimation does these Blu-rays, there's not much detail in the final product.

On Blu-ray forum someone noted that the images on Madman's site differ in character from what we've seen with the US sets. I'm interested to see what this will look like.
