If SSJ4 was actually what Goku looked like when he first fought Freeza, (red/brown), it would have had a bigger impact. There would be no question what transformed into, and he would be more terrified of Goku given his appearance.

In nothing I've ever heard have they pronounced as Gok-oh
just because it's spelled that way doesn't mean it's pronounced different.

I think it might depend on what you mean by official. "Son Gok ou" has been used on official Japanese merchandise as well, but it's still pretty weird.

In DBK BOX 4 there's no mention of Son, just this:


" G okou" does sound and look weird, imo.

Other way is GT, DB, Films, Specials need to be redubbed to be identical to the original scripts and the titles can go back to the way it was similar to Kai and the original version of the series. Character names and attacks need to be properly said including the "Sighyan" pronouncation ...

If they were gonna redub it why not make it like kai (cut filler etc)
