Technically the new movie destroys DBGT. Pilaf and crew become the same age as Goten/Trunks in Battle of Gods.. but then in DBGT they're much older. So DBGT literally can't happen in that universe.

Cipher nailed it so perfectly. I believe GT was the perfect way to end the series. There's just something about it that gets me emotional (not just the ending, of course). With Z ending, I suppose since I already knew GT was coming afterwards, it was just getting me excited for the next adventure.

I thought so, I just couldn't think of any other time that something similar happened. Goku doing it three times just seemed implausible anyway.

It seems like a silly question, but I'd like to get a conformation on it. When Goku uses his Kamehameha to finish off Super 17, is he doing the attack three times, or is it just the same clip repeated twice afterwards to emphasis how powerful it is?

Entertaining for sure. Definitely one of the most interesting episodes I've ever heard. I've become that much more inspired listening about Toriyama and what he does
