Re: The TV Anime Series Dragon Ball Super: Beerus will be broadcast on Fuji TV in the fall of 2026
The production committee is taking more time to approve projects because doing so requires more planning now. The long-running anime is increasingly no longer a thing because the productions committees can spread a series out over a longer period of time while maintaining profits and animation ...

Re: The TV Anime Series Dragon Ball Super: Beerus will be broadcast on Fuji TV in the fall of 2026
I watched Daima and I have reviewed his work on Sakugabooru numerous times before making the post you quoted. Yamamuro has the same problems that he has had for decades at this point and I have no need to just toss the guy a bone when he isn't giving me any reason to. His animation and his ...

Re: The TV Anime Series Dragon Ball Super: Beerus will be broadcast on Fuji TV in the fall of 2026
It makes sense that any talented animators working on the Super Enhanced version would wind up moving over to work on Moro once production was ready to start on that. The worst part of this news is that Yamamuro is probably also moving over to work on Moro, like he did for Dragon Ball Daima . I do ...

Re: The TV Anime Series Dragon Ball Super: Beerus will be broadcast on Fuji TV in the fall of 2026
According to Ajay, apparently Yuya Takahashi will strictly follow Yamamuro's character sheet for the remake. I have to say it's a little bit odd for him to retract his steps after he went against Yamamuro in Tournament of Power arc. How sad it is for someone of his stature to lower his standard for ...

Re: Janemba could be the next villain! (ties to Black Frieza)
Whether Toriyama created them or not is kind of beside the point. Dragon Ball hasn’t been solely “Toriyama’s” for a long time honestly, not even when he was alive. Toei owns these properties, and all of it is source material they’re free to reinterpret or reintroduce however they want.
It's ...

Re: Dragon Ball Genkida Matsuri 2026 DBS remaster, DBS galactic patrol arc, Age 1000 announced.
It's evident that the top dogs learned their lesson based on the production schedules they put out after 2015 Dragon Ball Super. If I recalled correctly, 2018 movie had one year of production time before they released it. Superhero suffer a little bit, given Chikashi Kubota's comment about having ...

Re: Dragon Ball Genkida Matsuri 2026 on january 25th will have Dragon Ball announcements
Why do you want everything to be short? Having a short arc takes away the fun and thrill of wanting more. 26-40 episodes would be more ideal going forward.
Twelve standard-length episodes—thirteen if they want to go nuts with extra action cuts for the climax of the arc and fulfill a full ...

Re: Dragon Ball Genkida Matsuri 2026 on january 25th will have Dragon Ball announcements
With the amount of time spent on getting their ducks in a row that is needed in the industry now to produce a high-quality series, the more time they have to work with, the better. Still, Ajay says that the production is hoping for beginning to release The Galactic Patrol at the end of 2027, which ...

They don't need two years to produce a good show. 6-8 months of production time is pretty healthy. Any more time than that is just a bonus.

Re: DBS Arc Plannings Leading To Moro in 2027
They are not going to produce the Galactic Patrol Prisoner and Granolah arcs into 6 episodes each. It will be much longer than that. I suspect the same is true for the Future Trunks and Universal Survival arcs. They already have enough materials to go past 6 episodes.

Re: Dragon Ball Genkida Matsuri 2026 on january 25th will have Dragon Ball announcements
IMHO Dragon Ball died with the original creator and now there are remakes and scraping the barrel on whatever unfinished work (or finished but fucked up by rights holders) he had.
Agreed. I am thoroughly retired from new Dragon Ball content and will never watch or care about non-Toriyama slop ...

Re: Dragon Ball Genkida Matsuri 2026 on january 25th will have Dragon Ball announcements
The enhanced Beerus arc basically just being the old 2015 animated series with redone photography and a few new shots still based on Yamamuro's character designs does not bode well for the project at all lol
I never had the faith to begin with. The trailer looks terrible, and the fact that ...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super: The Galactic Patrol" (20??) Discussion Thread
Has anybody noticed that the “Super” part of the logo has changed to a different color in both BEERUS and Galactic Patrol posters? I really like the new touch up. I assume this will be the new logo going forward?

Re: Dragon Ball Genkida Matsuri 2026 on january 25th will have Dragon Ball announcements
By the way, is this the first time Naoki Miyahara has been involved with anything Dragon Ball since the end of GT? He was the director for the 40th Anniversary special video.
Miyahara Naoki directed the CG for Battle of Gods.
Huh, that’s an interesting tidbit. I certainly didn’t expect him ...

Ajay doesn’t know anything. Late 2027 is way too far. They have already said it’s in the production, so the reasonable expectation should be late 2026.Lord Beerus wrote: Sat Jan 24, 2026 9:53 pm Don’t expect any animated material soon. Re: Dragon Ball Genkida Matsuri 2026 on january 25th will have Dragon Ball announcements
Apparently, there have been leaks circulating on social media that appear to be Yamamuro’s work, possibly related to a Dragon Ball Super remake.
Honestly, I'm pretty skeptical about it. Whatever it is that is in works, I don't want Yamamuro anywhere near Dragon Ball. The man's talent has since ...
