Re: Dragon Box Vs. Dragon Ball Z Level 1.1
I'm surprised the BD didn't at least use the old dub-only NEPs that were produced for Cartoon Network/Toonami, surely FUNi has those kicking around somewhere? splice in the original film footage, and boom, HD!! These BDs are evidentally a dub centric release anyway, I don't see why they wouldn't do ...

That said, I stopped buying the orange bricks as soon as the Dragon Box was announced, and ...

I honestly don't see any possible announcements, if any at all, for GT. The whole reason we even got the DBox for Z was because we had never had a steady, proper release for the series. The Z DBox was obviously intended to cater to the majority of us who BEGGED for a proper 4:3 release that wasn't ...

Finally got mine today.
Despite the minor complaints (all of which have already been brought up at some point in this thread), this is probably the first FUNimation release that has been done "right" in recent memory. Funimation reversioning, degraded Japanese audio, changing of show logos, removal ...

Alright so now that we know that the Dragon Box will feature only two tracks, what are some of your thoughts on the visual quality? Having listened to a podcast, I got the impression that the Japanese Dragon Boxes were not packed completely, so FUNimation MIGHT be able to pull it off. Do you think ...
