Yeah, I just read the scanlations. It's a pretty interesting take on the legend, really. But what I'm wondering is, is this whole thing canon to the franchise, or just a little side story to promote SSJ Bardock's appearance in DB Heroes?

I think that it would be a bit hard to implement, since most fighting game/anime characters can't fly and shoot big energy blasts like Dragon Ball characters can.
Unless they were relatively unknown characters that recieved character/ability redesigns in order to fit in and get more well-known in ...

Considering that we have two different versions or iterations of Dragon Soul (Dragon Soul and Chou * Super Dragon Soul), I wouldn't be surprised if they end up using Super Dragon Soul for the second opening. Especially since how Super Saiyans play a huge role from this point on.

Considering that past reports have said that there's a Super Saiyan theme in the Song Collection, and that SSJ Goku is in the background of this song's lyrics page, I'm gonna be surprised and disappointed if they don't use Super Dragon Soul in episode 47.

That scene has been ruined for me because I know that they're going to use Super Dragon Soul as an insert song, and it's already been used. ;_;

Hm, the lyrics makes sense, at least for SSJ Goku. The way I interpret it, he's basically saying to Freeza that he won't let him take away the peace and love that he devotes to protect...or something like that. Heh.

The theme is quite epic, really, and the first few seconds of it perfectly fits Goku's first SSJ transformation on Namek ...
