This is an interesting topic because, at the time, fans of the series actually DID think of it as a new series.
IIRC based on news group postings, the Boo arc was advertised heavily before airing. And actually, on those news groups, there was a period of time from Great Saiyaman onward where it was ...

Re: Kai Episode 98 Canceled
Well played. In return I'm going to pull the "Imperfections are part of it's charm" card.
Not only that, but it still couldn't fix the GOD AWFUL ART and inconsistent animation studios being cut back and forth between now in the span of a single episode instead of over the course of two to ...

Re: DBZ Remastered Movies in 4:3 and better contrast !
Wow, the image quality on those pictures is fucking incredible.
How would someone obtain all of those various cels, with the correct backdrops, to scan in as a complete image? That doesn't make much sense to me-- sounds impossible.
Maybe these actually come directly from FUNimation themselves.

Re: Dragon Ball GT Eyecatchers
This is easily one of the greatest troll threads I've seen in recent memory.
What makes it so great is the fact that you all continue getting roped in with his purposeful and progressively more nonsensical gobbledygook.
I guess I just expected more from such a supposedly sharp group of people.

Two day shipping. I'm expecting it to be here by early next week, considering they billed me today.
Shit, I guess I'd better start watching set one.

No exaggeration, I know literally ZERO people that currently share an even remote interest in anything Dragonball. I guess that's an odd thing to say, especially considering how large the franchise was, and continues to be. But it's true. I can't even mention the name Dragonball in any forum other ...

Again, upscaling is only possible through a digital (hdmi) connection. Component cables won't work.
Personally, I found a workaround to this. While my tv is a bit older and does not contain an hdmi connection, it DOES have a dvi input. Without getting into it, dvi and hdmi are essentially the same ...

To be a little bit more specific, I am watching on a Sony CRT. This is an HDTV from 2003, so there is no hdmi support at all.
I did check for an anti-image retention burn in setting on the tv to see if I could make the grey pillar boxes black, but it's a no-go.
Guess I'm just screwed on this one ...
