I'd agree about RB2's multiplayer. People rarely disconnect but when it happens you earn the points anyway (given that you play ranked games). It's also a bit surprising to see that after all these years it's still relatively easy to find people to play with.

Re: "DBZ: Battle of Z" (360/PS3/Vita) On-Going Discussion Th
Somewhere in all of the recent information, it was said that you control only the one character, and if you aren't playing multi-player, the others are controlled via AI. You can give commands to your teammates to change strategies though.

Re: "DBZ: Battle of Z" (360/PS3/Vita) On-Going Discussion Th
Now these are a few saddening facts + opinions:
1) No local multiplayer
2) In team battles, you control only one character (sad to say that we cannot switch between our teammates)
3) Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball GT have a slim chance of being in this game (iwould love to have them)
4) 2014 release ...

Re: "DBZ: Battle of Z" (360/PS3/Vita) On-Going Discussion Th
The scale on the map is definitely bigger, and I wouldn't be surprised if they made the character models a tad smaller to better fit the environment as well. As the locals they are showing off so far lend themselves to the idea I had a while back were you make the maps repeating(exit left-enter ...

The maps appear to be bigger. It's difficult to say how wide the actual usable space is though. I would suppose it'd be reasonable to expect them to be a bit bigger because the game will feature up to 8 characters on one map.

Just one question.....will I be able to play battle of z with only 1 human play and the rest is cpu controlled (do I have to have another controller with me)????????????????????????
I'd assume you can play the game by yourself with all CPU players, and even if you only have one controller there ...

I think a short video teaser on the Namco Bandai Europe Facebook page is a possibility. After all, what else would they tease people with? Japanese scans of a Japanese magazine are not the official marketing materials for the Western countries, so they probably won't use any of that.

Re: "DBZ: Battle of Z" (360/PS3/Vita) On-Going Discussion Th
Right, it could as well be just a regular VS mode. Oozaru Vegeta is far too big for a Vs. battle. You still could be right though.
Actually, it might as well be some sort of a "skirmish mode" when you choose a giant and then characters to fight against it - which I guess could also be called a ...

I wouldn't mind if they released a DLC called Battle of GT a few months after the game release.sintzu wrote:if we get all major z stuff than I'm ok with no gt but I'm sure we will get itJaetinh wrote:

I know this may not mean anything, but the scans seem to suggest a new story or at the very least a what-if.
What part of the scans make you think that there will be what-if stories? Piccolo helping out with Oozaru Vegeta, Goku facing off against Vegeta, Nappa, Raditz, and a saibaman all at once ...

Come on, we want a trailer with gameplay! :D
I feel like we may get that when(if) that website updates Friday with this game. 8)
That's exactly what I think as well. A 40 seconds trailer (out of which 15 seconds will be wasted on showing Namco Bandai's and developer's banners) with More at Japan ...

I won't be surprised if the game is announced in Shounen Jump next Monday. This way, they could already show the gameplay and a playable demo at Japan Expo in July.

Re: Bandai planning to "conquer the world"?
They have been quite confident with their marketing campaign so far. Generating all that hype, teasing people with rather condensed statements while keeping everyone uncertain about anything for such long time. They act like they have a holy grail of Dragon Ball - and they better have one, otherwise ...

Re: Bandai planning to "conquer the world"?
Why not both? The reason I support a character creator is because it opens the door to story mode ideas. Writers could play with the story and universe to allow for some really fun and creative stories within the spirit of the Dragonball universe. It wouldn't take anything away, all of the other ...
