Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
One thing I like in this manga also was where they unfused Kibito and Supreme Kai, I always liked their individual designs much better than the fused one.
Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
Is it written as "SSJ Blue" or "SSJ Ao"? If it's the former, then I'll be having so much fun with the "Burū" part.

Whis refers to it in English. We in the SSJB age now!Avery wrote:Is it written as "SSJ Blue" or "SSJ Ao"? If it's the former, then I'll be having so much fun with the "Burū" part.

So was there a mistranslation or something, how can Vados have trained Whis only 1,000 years ago when Whis trained Beerus and Beerus has been around for a lot longer than that?

Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
It's not a mistranslation. Whis can still have been stronger than Beerus before Vados trained him. Given Elder Kaioshin's line about the guy who sealed him in the Z Sword, which turns out to be Beerus, the Hakaishin was/could have been debatably weaker than Majin Buu as one point. There's a TON of wiggle room here.

There TheDevilCorpse goes again, you do a good job of making very good logic of things that are murky. The main idea is that you're correct in that there is a lot of "wiggle room" here and nothing necessarily doesn't fit so we have to wait and see how everything unfolds.TheDevilsCorpse wrote:It's not a mistranslation. So how do you pronounce Vados?
Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
Throw "ヴァドス" into Google Translate and hit the little speaker icon. It'll read it out to you. It's basically what it says minus the U on the end.Bullza wrote:So how do you pronounce Vados?

Anyone curious about Champa's broken tail? Huge potential for a backstory there, it'd be funny if Beerus done it.

Eh to each their own I say- we all have our interpretations and they don't really confirm nor deny anything. It's all ambiguous as far as I can see. I actually rather enjoyed GT despite its differences and flaws. But if they do ever find a way to tie Super and End of Z to GT, then good for them I say. Not everyone will be pleased but that's to be expected.LSSJGODSSJ4Gogeta wrote:That only CONFIRMS it's universe 8! I love how the manga is much less focused on the movie events and shows what else is going on. Though the defusing of Kibito Kai still creates a big plothole if you count GT.
Anyway, I wonder what Universe 6 is like. THey've only mentioned Earth so far. Does it have its own Namek, its own Dragon Balls, or even it's own Kaioshins?
Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
Until there is a complete unescapable plothole, you can say they are all in the same universe, but there are some minor mistakes and plotholes in the telling. No biggie: it isn't like DB doesn't have those anyway.

Give Toriyama time for the plotholes to come rolling in.
He devolved into saying only one word. Time to hit the ol' cosmic trail.
Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
Since it's a twin universe everything in U7 existed at least at one time in U6. Everything supposedly has a twin, meaning, the human's probably had twins, Goku and Vegeta has a twin, and so on. Anything is possible though, for example just because Goku is alive, doesn't mean his twin in U6 still is, but he had to exist at some point. This is just my opinion though, taken from Beerus, Champa, and Vados and Whis being twins, a long with a Earth existing in U6 as well. Though the Humans in U6 are wiped out, and our human's in U7 are obviously still alive. That lead's me to believe everything has a twin, and are probably born at the same time, but they don't have to die at the same time. Some think Goku's twin would have never hit his head, and would still be evil, but I don't know how exactly that would play out, we know existing things (people, places, things) have twins, but as far as Event's or a Timeline/History goes I'm unsure, if Earth's human's were destroyed, then it can't follow the same timeline right? Then that would mean U6 is a Twin/alternate universe, meaning that (people, places, and things) have twins, but the timeline itself does not. In other word's U6 probably has it's own history/timeline, for example, Buu probably has a twin, but that doesn't mean he was awoken in U6, meaning he was never a threat, which would lead to Uub never being born.OkamiTakahashi wrote:Eh to each their own I say- we all have our interpretations and they don't really confirm nor deny anything. Edit- I could also see it working vice versa meaning just because say "Broly" is still alive in U6 doesn't mean he couldn't have been killed at birth or some point in time before he could meet Goku in U7. This is just me thinking to hard, but if it works like this they have a lot of chances to fit GT and the movies in Super.

Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
It'd be kind of entertaining to me if in Universe 6, Vegeta's the tall one and it's Gokû who's on the short side. X3
Whatever they're like, they're the two whose counterparts I want to see the most.

Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
I'm getting the feeling that twin doesn't mean they have to look exactly alike, (Champa is fat with a broken tail), or they could be a twin by being the opposite gender. There is countless option's: Goku could be evil, he could have never taken up fighting, he could be lazy, Vegeta might actually be the good guy, it's just insane possibilities, there's no way to really predict it, which is interesting.Chuquita wrote:It'd be kind of entertaining to me if in Universe 6, Vegeta's the tall one and it's Gokû who's on the short side. That's exactly why it's so much fun theorizing about.
