Vegeta killing 90% of Freeza's henchmen

Anyone find it amusing that Vegeta literally kills ALL of Freeza's named henchmen in the Namek saga sans Ginyu...and he was about to crush Ginyu too?

- Kui is killed by Vegeta the moment he lands on Namek
- Dodoria is killed by Vegeta after he runs into him
- Apul is killed by Vegeta when he blows out of the rejuvenation chamber
- Zarbon is killed by Vegeta during their second fight
- Guldo is killed by Vegeta after he saves Krillin/Gohan
- Recoome is killed by Vegeta after Goku takes him out
- Burter is killed by Vegeta after Goku takes him out
- Jeice is killed by Vegeta.
- All the leftover minions in Freeza's ship were killed by Vegeta when he returns there as Goku is taken to be healed

And as I said, he was also going to crush the Ginyu frog with his boot before Goku talked him out of it.

Not really... Honestly it just makes sense given Vegeta's character... I mean Gohan, Kuririn, and Goku aren't really the type of people to actively kill their opponents... Plus for the most part Gohan and Kuririn were mostly trying to avoid as much conflict as possible and Goku was pretty much out for most of Namek.

Gohan and Krillin killed the henchmen that destroyed their spaceship.

Besides that, it makes sense. It's a dirty job and Vegeta is evil so it made sense, plot-wise, for him to do it.

They killed a lot of them actually. Out of all that were with Freeza, only a couple weren't killed by them.

Not really. Vegeta had already been established as an evil, remorseless prick with no sense of loyalty in the Saiyan arc.

Also, for Vegeta, these aren't all random people. The named people he kills (Cui, Dodoria, Zerbon, Ginyuu force) were all active rivals of Vegeta and none of them liked him and vice versa. He had personal beef with them and relished being rid of them.

Yeah, the only other henchmen killed were by some of those Namek warriors in the first village we saw attacked, and Gohan/Krillin killing those two guys who shot at Kami's spaceship when they first landed.

Unless you also count the two who were killed by the giant crab who chased Bulma. I always liked that crocodile looking guy from the Bulma fillers.

I think the whole thing was utterly ridiculous. Heaven forbid anyone else wins a couple battles without cheating (oh i'm sorry, zenkai) their way to victory for like one third of all the fights.

They killed a lot of them actually. Out of all that were with Freeza, only a couple weren't killed by them.

In the manga, Appule is the only random goon left with Freeza on Namek after their attack, right?

In the anime there's also Oren, Blueberry+Raspberry, and some others.

It seems a standard Toriyama thing to have the big group of baddies whittled down to just the few key members as quickly as possible.
