Exactly. If there are Super Dragon Balls native to Universe 6, given the twin universe explanation, it seems logical that there would also be Namekians. Though it's also possible that there aren't any.

Also worth noting, seeing how Episode 16 has the Kaioshin wondering what actually happened to two of the planets they thought Beerus destroyed, it seems Champa has presumably been collecting Super Dragon Balls in Universe 7 since the Beerus Arc. So maybe there aren't any in Universe 6 anymore or something? Maybe the Super Dragon Balls that the gang goes after are the set Champa stole from their universe? Long waiting game, I suppose...

Or maybe each universe has one which will give them a reason to visit at least half of the universes.

Seeing how our Universe 7 Kaioshin stated two planets disappeared as if by "magic", that seems highly unlikely.

While true that it's unlikely, it would explain the 9-star ball pretty easily.

I forgot about that 9 star ball.

I still think that's just an error though. I use a similar grid design for my own material when creating Dragon Balls. Could potentially be one he forgot to go back and fiddle with. We'll see I guess.

The transcript that was posted of the dialogue showed that 双子 was used to describe the universes, as well:

ウイス: シャンパ様は第6宇宙やってこられたのです この第6第7宇宙はほとんど同じ双子のような関係なんです

As for Whis and Vados, she described them as 姉弟 (older sister/younger brother) rather than twins.

Of course, technically the two universes are said to have a "relationship like two twins that are mostly the same" (ほとんど同じ双子のような関係), whereas Champa and Beerus are simply described as "twins", so take that as you will.

Which is exactly why I'm a little worried about universe 6 saga, bieng Bad Goku or lazy Goku and princess Vegeta representing universe 6, I want to see new characters with there own back story, not ackward Z fighters.

I think both are possible at once. Some brand new characters and some counterparts.

Honestly I think Yajirobe already fits the "lazy Gokû" slot. He was strong when he first appeared, but had no motivation to want to continue to seek out tough opponents at all.

Well I guess as long as we get at least one interesting new character, both in design and character, and not Toriyama being lazy like with champa and Vados, I'll be happy.

Using it for Beerus/Champa, Whis/Vados, Earth 7/Earth 6, Namekians & Super Dragon Balls is enough of a reason for me. And who knows, maybe they could use it to set up new stuff discovered in Universe 6 that can later be explored in more depth in Universe 7, too.
Earth 6 doesn't even need to exist though. If there had been no Earth at all in Universe 6, they could basically follow the same plot so far (unless it turns out that there are survivors from Earth and they're relevant in this saga). We also don't even know at this point if Champa and Vados are really counterparts.

I don't even know what Beerus wins if his team wins the tournament.

If Champa wins, he wins U7-Earth and its food, and gives U6-Earth (no food) to Beerus.

If Beerus wins, he gets nothing. Why the heck did he accept this deal?

I'd rather have completely all new characters. With us already having Champa and Vados who aren't that original themselves it would seem lazy if we just got more alternate versions.

Maybe one at most but that's it.

Aside from being able to lord his victory over Champa (who he's already stronger than), I have no idea.

Maybe it'll get clarified in the anime?

He hasn't accepted it yet there might be something he wants from Shampa or his universe that will probably be revealed in the next chapter.

Maybe the idea is lazy as you call it, but it won't make much sense if there weren't at least similar U6 versions of the races and planets that are in U7 if they're said to be like twins...

It's not lazy if it's intentional.

Implying that laziness never is, which I can attest that it is from both personnel and other peoples experience.
When someone tells you, "Don't present your opinion as fact," what they're actually saying is, "Don't present your opinion with any conviction. Because I don't like your opinion, and I want to be able to dismiss it as easily as possible." Don't fall for it.

I'm talking about this issue. If the reason for Champa and Vados getting the designs they got is to be similar to Beers and Whis, then it's not lazy at all.

I think we are going to get some kind of Evil Goku/GT/SSJ4 Goku type of deal, I have a wierd feeling with all this SSJ4 content in Heroes, Toyotaro wont be able to help himself, to at least show awareness of GT in some form or fassion in Super.

The one thing that is confusing is that freizas men saw what we assume to be the Super Dragon Ball and Champa looking at it as well, then we time skip to the end of the Freeza fight. It's kinda weird. I hope those gaps are filled in later
