is Pan really the Grandmother of Goku Jr?

In a french magazine they said that Pan have a daughter died when she have Goku junior, but still not convinced me because Pan is too old than a grand mother. I have a grand-grand mother so i think they bad calculate logical things in GT with Pan!

In the anime there is no statement about how many years have passed after omega shenron. It's stated as his mother also not contradicting at all but you know considering pan was very old to be a mother the only logical explanation she is at least a grandmother. in funimation it's stated as his grandmother but in the orignal japanese dialogue it seems she state as his great great grandmother. There is no statement also about her age in GT.

If you want to get technical, there's only a single number difference between them, but the series actually takes place over more than a year. How much of the second year though, we don't know for certain. GT starts off at the beginning of AGE 789 and the end of the Bebi material wraps up one year later in AGE 790 with Earth's destruction. That marks one year though, and then we have an unknown time gap, a tournament (presumably on May 7th), another time gap, and then the Super 17 and Evil Dragons material. We don't know the months of most these AGE 790 events, but they are all placed within that year in supplemental material.

So in that case, we can say almost 2 years then, 100-102 tops. Thanks for the clarification, I wasn't aware of this.

I only brought this out to support the argument that the Special does not contradict GT, At all.
